At first, I thought the owner was very nice when he came to give a quote. After a few no call, no shows, I got upset. I texted the owner. No reply. I texted him again the next day (Sunday). His response was "You still owe X dollars, I will get it done, sorry you are disappointed". This was the text I got after I complained that I had paid $1000 of my balance that I didn't need to pay to be completed as one of his workers explained they were between jobs and he needed the money. I felt bad as I knew he had children so I paid the $1000 of the $1840 balance I owed with the promise they would be back the next day to finish. Again, a no call, no show. My following text to him was that I expected it to be done Monday as it was to rain Tuesday and Wednesday. No call no show on Monday. I finally went to the guy who referred me to him to complain. This made the owner mad. They did come out on Tuesday, promised again it would be finished. Not finished. Text said he would be back the next morning and I needed to leave a check. Left check. Came home the next day and nothing done. Texted owner AGAIN and got no reply after an hour. Called him and got shouted at with obscenities. Have never been talked to so verbally abusive in my life. He said would not finish to the job and to take him to court to get any money back. All rotten siding and windows were left in my backyard, along with everything off my deck, plus all the siding left in my driveway that they were to haul away. I am left to finish the deck myself and haul away all the trash. Will NEVER hire him and will NEVER refer him.
