+ -1 moreI have mixed feelings about MWC. He was able to come out & look late in the day, and he was very apologetic for missing the loose wire, but did keep my check & sure wanted to replace the furnace.
Description of Work: My Furnace quit. I called MWC, He looked it over & said I needed a new Furnace, he could put one in for $2500. I said I would have to get back with him. I later found a loose wire hanging off one of the pressure sensors, put it pack on and all was fine. A couple of days later, the Inducer Motor went out. He said those are hard to find, and again told me I need a new furnace. It would take a few days to get it in, and he was willing to give me a few space heaters until he could get the new one. I ordered the motor off Amazon for $80 & replaced it myself.

+ -1 moreAt about 5am the day after Christmas we noticed that the furnace wasnt working. Midwest Contracting took care of our A/C last summer when it went out and we had gotten such a great price for that we figured we would call them for the furnace also. I was very impressed that the owner himself came out around 7am to see what was going on with the furnace! All in all it ended up just needing to be replaced (which we figured cause it was old), they gave us an awesome price on a brand new one and he didnt even charge us for the initial service call...again, I was impressed specially with it being a Saturaday AND the day after Christmas! Within 2 hours of him getting to our house they had already started on replacing the furnace and where done in time for dinner! Needless to say we have absolutly NO complaints about this company or their ethics! Jason and his crew were very kind and friendly. I would never recommend any other company for HVAC than Midwest Contracting.
Description of Work: Old Furnace replaced with new High Efficiency.
