It went well. It took them a little while to get back to me, but once they did, they came out the next day, and did a great job. They not only cleaned the gutters, but inspected the roof for exposed nails. Luckily we didn't have any, but they said they would've nailed them down and caulked them for no additional cost if found. Extremely well priced and professional.

It went well, He gave me a price and stuck to that price. Came out in one day did the job cleaned up and left, I paid him and he left, what else do you want to know?

I had to call three separate times before I could reach anyone to arrange an estimate. On the agreed day and time, they didn't show up. No phone call, no excuse, nothing. So I tried again. This time a man came out to walk around and scope out the work. He took a few notes, then promised they would start work the next week. No show. After two weeks passed I finally reached someone by phone, who promised that they would start work in two days. Again, no show--no phone call, nothing. So I called again. This time he explained he'd suffered a medical problem but promised faithfully that they would be at my house the next week. That was three months ago. I finally gave up in disgust. The gentleman is very personable and seems to know his craft; he just doesn't bother to honor commitments. This company is completely unreliable. Avoid it, and the aggravation.

After telling them we decided to go with the company I was given a date they were going to start. It was a $1200.00 job. A week after the start date and a no show I called and left a message inquiring as to why they didn't show. I was told one of their empolyees didn't show up to work. I was then asked if they could come on a Sunday to do the tear off and I said yes. Again, no show. Since then I have called twice and left a message each time and have never received a call back. The last call was 9/9/13 and I said if I didn't hear from them by 9/11/13 I would assume they didn't want the job and I would start the process of getting more estimates. I saw Midwest Seamless Gutters today and am expecting a call from another gutter company tomorrow. Evidently a $1200.00 gutter job isn't worth the common courtesy of a phone call for this company. i don't think I asked too much when I asked for a call back but I guess it was . When I looked at the reviews and saw they were slow to get back to the customer I thought it couldn't be worse than the electricians and contractor I have dealt with this summer but I was wrong. At least they ALWAYS returned my call. If you want the job done, don't call this company.

The work was good and the price was very reasonable. They advised us of two options on a written bid. But communication with them was difficult. They were slow to respond to our phone messages. Also, they failed to communicate that they were not coming to finish the job the second day, as promised, nor did they notify us WHEN they actually were coming to finish up the work. Clean-up could have been better. We called several companies for estimates. When I called Gutter Guys for an estimate it was phone tag between us to set a date for them to come over to the house. I always had to leave a message for them, and had to wait a day or two to get call back. They came later than expected but did a good job with two written bids, complete with a sketch drawing. Once we made a decision to hire them, we left multiple messages and did not get a return phone call until a week later. Once we confirmed the work to be done and price, they were available about 4 days later, so we didn't have to wait weeks to get the job done. However they arrived about 3pm in the afternoon, and we had waited all morning for them to show up. This was partly our fault since we did not ask them for a specific time of day they would start work. They did not finish the first day and said they would be back the next day, but they did not come. We waited all day at the house for them to come back and finally called them. Once again we could not reach them directly but had to leave a message. They never called us to say that they would late or that they could not come at all and did not tell us when they would return to finish the work. They did come the day after that message was left, but again did not communicate that they were coming to finish the job...they just showed up about 2pm. I did have to mention for them to clean up afterwards, and brought them a rake and a cart to put the seeds and leaves from the old gutters into. Big clumps were left on the porch and in the yard so we couldn't mow the grass until they finished the job on day 3. I walked around the house to check for debris and found several nails, including two on the driveway, one of which was in our garage tracked in by our car driving in. No tire damage, luckily. They did remove all the old gutter pieces and gave us some of the old pins used previously as requested. They were nice people with a lot on their plates. I would hire them again, but make try harder to find out their schedule for my job, as to start and finish times and dates up front..

Played telephone tag and they always returned my call. Had a first meeting on 9/30/11. I decided to employ them and they said they would be back in approximately two weeks, as they had to pick up these particular gutter shields from out of town. I agreed to hire them and they were back on 10/15/11. Cleaned the gutters and installed the new shields,which are very effective with a very low profile. They were very helpful in explaining what they were going to do and describing the new shields. I regard The gutter Guys as honest and very professional and willing to take time to respond to my questions.

The Gutter Guys is an excellent company for this type of service. The work was thorough and performed as agreed. The owner is a pleasure to do business with. The screens were installed within a short time. The color is black and the screen is large enough to allow easy water flow into the gutter but will stop leaves and the seeds from a maple tree. The work was done efficiently and professionally at a very competitive cost. I enjoyed working with the owner and am very pleased with both the cleaning and the installation. I highly recommend The Gutter Guys, Davenport, IA for gutter cleaning and / or the installation of leaf guards on your existing gutters.

They did a great job! The only things I didn't like is finding all the screws/nails lying around and that he started the work, but didn't come back for a few days and didn't communicate that to us. Otherwise did good work at a great price! I would use them again and I would recommend them and have to friends and family.

Called the company they came over and were able to write up and estimate within a few days. Left it with my mail, and when I called to schedule they got out to do the work within 4 days. 1 afternoon of work. Also spotted loose flashing and reparied.
