The crew worked steadily all day. They would re install any errors immediately so errors did not compound. Questions were answered, all the crew was very personable but did not let that slow them down.

Provider did not follow up with estimate, so after 1 week I called Company. I was assured that estimate would be provided by email ASAP. Three days later I got email estimate for about half the work I indicated that I was interested in. I moved on to another provider. UPDATE: There was a miscommunication, I will consider using this company in the future.

First the positives: 1. The window performs well - it insulates well and the side casement windows work well after a service call to fix the operation of one of them. 2. The indoor carpentry work was excellent. After synthetic trim was mistakenly installed the first time; I stained and finished the new solid oak trim, and the carpenter installed it. He spent a lot of time on the job making sure that the trim was installed well, and I'm impressed with his work. The negative: 1. There are two types of exterior trim: I'll call them smooth and textured. All of the rest of the trim on my house is textured. The trim used by Suburban was smooth - not matching the rest of the house. Although I did not specify textured trim on the contract, I would have hoped that the installers would have checked the rest of the house and used matching trim. Thus, the lower grade for professionalism. Note: After seeing this review; Suburban had their carpenter (an excellent craftsman, in my opinion) redo the outside trim with the correct textured material, and with the extra bend in the brick molding that the rest of the house had.

The were especially responsive, but just felt that I could get the same door, installed, for about $500.00 less.

This was done on a stone house so more difficult to remove & install. Window panes do not let the cold air in. Yes, the price is a bit steep, but they employ their own workers and do not subcontract. Quality control is excellent--

Very helpful in choosing new doors. Doors arrived but we weren't informed until we called. Installers arrived on time and installation was performed in a professional manner. Answered questions we had. Also our job was presented on local TV program. Outstanding job throughout process.

The crew, led by Steve, were very respectful and professional. They arrive on time and worked the whole time they were here. I just wandered around observing and asking questions and they all were happy to answer them. I highly recommend this company and this crew. Thank you, Suburban Construction.

I replaced 17 windows (2 in the garage) and stated that they were hard to open and shut...the current owner of Suburban called and said he would come out Monday to look at them...he sounded very sincere so, I want to give them a much higher grade at least he is concerned about the quality of his windows

I contacted them via their website. They called me the next day. Setup an appointment for the next week. Also followed it up with an appointment card. They came when they said they would, explained everything in great detail. Gave me the cost right then and their. I asked them to move ahead with the work. They arranged to have a second person come out and double check measurements and make sure everything was 100% perfect (Second set of eyes! Love it!). They had the factory start work on the custom windows. The windows came in a few weeks later. I was called right away and they came out a day after that. The work men were extremely knowledgeable. There work was professional. There is no way I could have done as nice a job as they did. There really was not anything they could have done better. They followed up the day after implantation to make sure I was happy. I stopped in their office to make sure they were paid. The original sales person came out to make sure I was happy as well. It was one of the most professional installations from sales, to verification to installation to checking up after the fact. GOOD PEOPLE!! I will do business again!!

They were accommodating, responsive and highly professional. Price was our only issue.

I called Suburban Construction for an estimate on replacing a door in our home. An employee answered the call courteously and professionally, set up our appointment for a free estimate, said they would be sending a reminder card and giving a reminder call the day before. We received the reminder card a couple days later, and we are now awaiting our appointment. We have a tight schedule for when my husband would be available to be here for the estimate, and they were able to accommodate the limited dates and times that I offered for the appointment. The company owner is who will be coming to give the estimate. Good first impression. We will see how the estimate goes compared to the other companies we've contacted...

I initially spoke with Darin Wilson about my project and he came to my house to measure my windows and look at the area that needed the siding repair. Darin was very professional and pleasant, provided detailed information, and was thorough in his answers to all of my questions. I was very happy that Suburban was willing to work on a small project. Two workers, Zeke and Adam, promptly arrived at 8 a.m. on the scheduled date and began working on the windows. A new wooded frame was first build for one of the windows as the original wood had rotted. Adam made an aluminum frame around the interior of each window which gave them a very finished and appealing appearance. The caulking around each window was very neat. The glass is opague which eliminates the need for curtains for privacy. The insulated windows are sliders with a safety stop to prevent the window from being opened fully if I choose to do this. The windows are too small for an adult to fit through, but the safely stop is still a nice feature that offers peace of mind. The new siding was nearly a perfect match in color as the old siding had faded. I could have used a new piece of siding in the front which would have been less work, but the "wood grain" on the new siding did not match the old siding. You could not see this difference unless you were up very close, but I decided on using a strip of old siding as was originally planned. Zeke was very accommodating and took the time to make it a perfect, seamless match. In the back of the house, Adam and Zeke added new insulation and then the new siding, and it looked exactly like the original. One very small section of siding in a corner was difficult to replace without removing the J channel and all of the original siding, which would have been very labor intensive. Zeke worked on this area for quite awhile and managed to fit a piece in without removing the J channel and other siding, and it looked nearly flawless. Zeke and Adam both worked very hard for half a day. They cleaned up all the materials and left no mess. Zeke also caulked the exterior of all of my windows. Considering the amount of work it took, especially for the siding repair, I feel the overall cost was very fair. I would definitely use Suburban Construction again. They offer quality products, are very professional and easy to deal with, and work hard to provide good service. It was a very enjoyable and stress-free experience.

Brian Girskis measured project and an extensive team rebuilt 3 season room then installed windows and door - our third project with this excellent firm.

Went very well. Job was finished on time and for the price. It has help up without problem over the years.

Our daughters boyfriend is an installer for Surburban so I had called them and two other window companies. Of all three I really liked the people from Surburban the best. From the get go, the sales person was friendly, knowledgable. I liked the fact that every other sentence didn't start out with either "Let me be honest with you", "Let me tell you what other companies do..." He explaned the process from beginning to end and that process is exactly what happened. Their quote was not the highest and not the lowest but I has brought up that price is not everything. In the showroom they pointed out the quality of their windows and what a number of the options were and how they would benefit or not benefit us. It did take a while for the windows to come in, but they had told us that from the very beginning. They would contact us several times letting us know the current timeline and once in were quick to setup a time and date to get them installed. The installers showed up on time and they were very nice. They explained what would go on and worked with us to go around anything that we needed them to. The installation went quickly and them made sure to clean up after themselves and at different times would stop and make sure we were happy with what they had done. Surburban contacted us the day after the istallation and made sure to talk to us and see that we were truly happy and that we felt we made a good decision. I would easily use them again in the future.

We contacted Suburban Construction inquiring about the cost of replacing the windows in our home. Brian came to our home and we discussed what windows would be best for our home. He did a rough measurement at that time and advised us he would have an estimate within a couple of days. Brain called us with the estimate the following day and followed up with a written estimate the following day. We set up an appointment with Brian at the Suburban show room. We were shown a wide selection of windows and Brian gave his recommendation of which windows would work best for us. We made our window choice at that time. A few days later a representative from Suburban did the final measurements for our new windows. Brian advised it would be approximately five weeks for our windows to be built and shipped. At four weeks Suburban called to advise our windows were in. We set up a time with them for the following week for the installation of the windows. The Crew showed up on time and began work right away. By the following afternoon the work was completed and the house looked great. We absolutely love the windows and have been recommending Suburban to friends and family. and will continue to do so. Note: In the middle of the window install we decided on a slight change in the interior trim. The lead installer called Brian and Brian said to do whatever it takes to make us happy. Needless to say we are extremely satisfied with entire transaction from A to Z.

Met with Darin several times before placing the order. Workers were on time, professional, knowledgable, and perform a very good workmanship. Prompt response to questions after installation.

The work was completed in one very long day. 2 of my windows were not functioning properly. Suburban replaced the 2 windows at no cost to us. We are pleased. Thank you Suburban

Repair technician was competent, friendly, and helpful. Past experiences with Suburban were equally satisfactory and they have always been reliable.

Everything went extremely well. The crew, all did extremely well, the work was excellent and quality was top notch. They were very courteous, a pleasure to be around and if I wanted something different they didn't hesitate to do as I asked. They were good about cleaning up each day and left the yard in order. I am ecstatic about how my house looks, I could not be happier.
