The electrician that was sent out was excellent. The work was done well and professionally. The only draw back was that the Koehler office manager, or secretary, attempted to make me feel guilty for not using the $100 credit within a year of the original purchase. She claimed, in effect, that she was out the $100, because the guy had come out and done the initial estimate. Therefore he/they lost money. An estimate should be part of the business model. That should be the start of what would ultimately be a job. I would never pay $100 for a mere estimate. We intended to use it somewhere in that house for something else, but in the meantime we moved. I wanted to use it at my new house instead. She tried to tell me that it lapsed, and therefore the company is out money. I refused to accept the NO offer, and she reneged a sent the guy out. But that wasn't until she voiced her displeasure. As for Angie's List, it should be money spent until services completed. I will re-think using the services in the future if I now have to be watchful of a timeline.

Electrician was very courteous and friendly and the services were performed as I requested.

The contractor arrived on time. He was polite and performed the task adequately. All switches and outlets worked as advertised. We have not had any issues since the install and were pleased with the quality of work.

The electrician showed up at the appointment time, was very professional and installed the items I had requested.

Called Koehler and they set up appointment a few days later. Tony called ahead and arrived on time. He assessed the problem and had to run out to buy a switch since they do not carry rheostat switches in their truck. We also asked him about a switch that had gone bad on our trash compactor. He removed the switch and said his boss would try to find a replacement but after an exhaustive search had no luck finding the out dated switch. We had used Koehler previously to install a NEST thermostat with great results. Very professional!

He did a great job with the panel and then did a great job of cleaning up. Most of the time when I have someone to come in my home to work, I end up cleaning up a great big mess. Additionally, he installed an outlet and repaired another one. I am very satisfied with the work that was done.

In and out very quickly to finish job needed, also found more problems that they helped with quickly.

The service was good. There was just a little bit of an issue where we do not know how much the service was going to cost and we told them that we had an Angie?s List coupon. We had asked if they would provide an estimate so that we would know if it was over and above what the Deal was. They said that they do not normally do that for the coupon. So, that was a little bit of an issue. They sent someone out to perform the work and at that time they said that it was going to cost more and they needed more time to perform the work, so they had to reschedule. The Deal was $99 for $200 worth of service. The cost was actually $400 total and they took $99 off for the coupon. I liked their services. They performed the work well to our satisfaction. My interaction with them was very good. They were very courteous. We did not get switch plate covers for all our electrical outlets so we had to go out and purchase them ourselves. I called the electrician who performed the work and told him that he forgot to leave our switch plate covers. He said that he had left them there when our painter was present, but we still could not find them The electrician said he was going to drop them off but he did not. This review was edited as the first review was via a phone interview from the Angie's List staff. I wanted to add that I was emailed later by Koehler and they offered to deliver the switch plates but we had already purchased them. That was nice on their part.

Fabulous. Professional and punctual. Got the work done efficiently and asked what else he could do for me. I am so impressed with this company. They are now my go to electricians!

It turned out fine. What stood out most for me was good customer service. They are reputable and a good company - I have worked with them in the past.

Our second experience with Koehler Electric and electrician Matt L. Positive both times. Matt is priceless....very open, honest about what he is doing. His recommendations are spot on. We have another project we are doing with him and Koehler in March!

They were prompt to answer by email (which I prefer!), showed up on time every time, quoted the same as billed, and the service technician was professional and nice to talk with as he worked. Only downside is the price was a bit high for such a simple job and it was a month wait for the repair to be scheduled in.

The electrician was great, showed up on time, friendly, knew his stuff. He helped us decipher some mysteries to a somewhat ad-hoc electric system in our older house. He also installed two plug-ins in the unfinished side of our basement. It was about $100 in parts for the basement plug-ins.

He did a great job and I would use him again. He is reasonable, quick and efficient. I would use him again.

We e-mailed Koehler Electric stating our problem. Within the same day (Thursday) we got our reply to call the store to make an appointment, which we did. We provided more detail about the job over the phone and then agreed that the electrician would stop by at Noon the following Monday to give us an estimate. (Because of the height of the ceiling, I told my wife; "They will have to provide some kind of scaffolding to reach that height and this is going to run us from $350-400!!). Well, the electrician called on the following Monday to report that he might be a little late (He was less than 10 minutes late) but wouldn't be long. When he saw that the fan operated off of a rheostat control, he said, that the motor may not be frozen and then proceeded to remove the rheostat and replaced it with a standard off and on toggle switch. The fan responded immediately and has operated perfectly since. I couldn't be more pleased. The electrician, Matt Logue, was as pleasant as could be, saved me at least $200 and did it all in a professional way. We'll definitely do more business with this company.

Excellent job! The electrician, Matt, was friendly and very professional. He discussed options with me and listened to what I wanted and why. I was very pleased with the company and would definetly use them for any other electrical. Highly recommend them.

The serviceman arrived on time and was courteous and professional. Price ended up being lower than originally quoted.....and that is always a real plus. Will probably have them back to do another job we're thinking about. Highly recommended!

It was good. I had no problems. He came out and he was on time. He fixed the problem, cleaned up after himself and left. He was very professional.
