Description of Work: Complete inspection of coils and condenser unit, clean and washes the condenser coil. Checked electrical a and found a bad condenser contacts. Suggested replacement, which we did. Found a mouse nest in the electrical. Removed and cleaned up electronic board. I even took the old condenser contact to another HVAC guy and he confirmed they were bad. Oh and he blow a bunch of crude out oh the coil drain line in the furnace.

+ -1 moreDuring the heat wave, our central air conditioner froze up. I called Family Heating and Cooling and they explained we were 10th on the list and they may not get to us, but they would try. Family returned my call less than two hours later asking for directions to my home. They showed up but a few minutes later, inspected our a/c, and found it to be frozen solid. He explained that we had to wait for it to thaw out before he could fix it and said he'd be back in a few hours. A few hours later, he came over to check it out, saw it was STILL frozen, and said he would return early the next morning. The following morning, we received a call from Family and said we were first on the list. They showed up around 7:30 a.m., diagnosed the problem and had our air working in no time! Throughout the process of getting our central air up and running, the serviceman gave us TONS of useful advice about how to help keep our air conditioner and furnace up and running from now on.
