Contacted us within a few days, but can't schedule a tuneup until July 15, which is far too late to check the a/c system.

The replacement went very well. Workers arrived on time and cleaned up any mess that was created with this install. High efficiency units and allergy (uv and filter) were installed. Installers were very knowledgeable and helped with any questions or concerns that surfaced.

I had a short in my unit and he was very good in resolving it. The unit has held up fine since they did the work.

I called and set up a fall furnace cleaning using Family Heating's Angie's List $49.00 coupon. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable and on time. He did a great job. While there he found an addition problem, ordered the part and was able to work around my schedule to come back the next day to get it repaired. I was very pleased with the service and would definitely use Family Heating again.

Very pleased with the service I received. They answered all my questions fully and clearly.Even the ones I hadn't thought of asking yet. They made sure I understood what I was getting and why they were recommending what they sold me. Installers showed up on time and set right to work and got the job done in the time promised. I would recommend Family Heating and Cooling to anyone. Very nice price on service calls too.

The person showed up 30 minutes late and never bothered to call. Instead, he claimed that he overslept when showing up at the house.

My A/C wasn't cooling well (only 70 degree output air). The service went well and the tech seemed knowledgeable. He spent about 45 cleaning and checking the A/C system. He ended up adding freon to the system at $84 a pound (seems to be the normal price these days). As he added the freon I checked the output air temp which bottomed out at 55 degrees. It's been a few months since the service and so far so good!

Very Professional! Cleaned AC unit inside and out. Let me see the scale so I knew how much R-22 was added to the unit. Best AC service technician I've had at my house.

Technician was very knowledgeable and easily answered any questions. Service included a very thorough cleaning, check of pressures and test of electrical components. The service was good, but I guess due to the high demand it was a few weeks before they could do the service. Overall, it was well worth the money and very professional service.

My A/C was not working, did not blow cold air, I called this company, they show up same day, checked and explained to me what is the problem. Chad is the name of the gentleman, came and check the furnace, he told me that I have two options, the first is to fix the furnace that I have, or to get a new one. He left and called back with the cost of the two options, I went with the one he recommended. He gave me another appointment to install the new furnace, it was two days later, two gentlemen come at 8 am, finished every thing by noon. They cleaned up every thing and make sure that every thing working before they leave.

Did not buy total unit from them

Contacted Family Heating & Cooling early friday evening with my furnace not working and an outdoor temp of about 20 degrees. I was told that they would call me as soon as they could , because they were very busy with alot of service calls. Around 1:00 am I received a call from the tech, letting me know he was about 5 hours from getting to me but wanted to know what the problem was. After explaining to him what the furnace was and wasn't doing he told me that he was about 95% sure it could be fixed over the phone. He walked me through the repair, which required no parts, and the furnace fired up. O BOY heat, He left me his cell number and said if it stops again to call him right away. He also told me how to clean the drain trap for the furnace, did that and it has been working fine since.

We woke up to a slowly cooling house - with a 4 month old baby this was PANIC mode for me since my husband was out of town and the high temp today was supposed to be in the 20's. I had another company come out and the guy tried to sell me a new, low efficiency furnance for $2000. Skeptical, I had Family Heating and Cooling come out - Chad (the owner) personally called me - He was here within 10 minutes of his call. When he arrived, he took the time not to tread in the snow from outside on his boots, and then reassessed the furnance situation. He ended up cleaning out a minor part and then sat here for 30 minutes, testing the part in question (a new smart valve would cost me $500) - then determining I did not need this part. A simple un-clogging was all my furnance needed! His experience and integrity saved me $2K and we had our house warm again - a very happy mom and baby!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Excellent job. Sales rep was very proffesional. Install went very quick and they cleaned up verygood.

Each time we called to make an appointment, the front office messed it up. The second time, I had told the receptionist that I'd be home after 1pm. At 11 am I got a phone call at work from a very irritated technician who was standing at the front door of my house waiting to be let in. After the furnace stopped working a third time, I called and told the receptionist that I was supposed to let them know that we needed a new control board. She told me that she'd call a repair technician and have them call me back that night or the next morning. Five days later I received a return phone call from the service man telling me that he was on his way to my house with a new part. Once again, I was at work & had totally given up on him ever calling. We canceled his call and vowed to never work with Family Heating again.

Service man called ahead & came when predicted. Tried to save motor by lubricating bearings - no help. Gave verbal estimate. Came next day with parts, repaired in short order.

Added freon but at $50 per lb. seems like alot money.

Hot days...a few of 95+....my AC wasnt cooling my house...Family was able to fit us in and to be here within 24 hours when most companies we called were booked up to 4 or 5 days! Showed up, diagnosed problem and had part with them AC was back up and running in approximate 30 minutes! Very pleased with service! True blessing they got us taken care of so quick! I even referred them to my boss the very next day!!

They responded quickly and made a good offer. He was courteous and I am going to use them again and would recommend them.

Everything went well. Tthe guy arrived on time and showed me how to relight the pilot so that I can save money next time. He checked everything out and made sure there was not a larger problem at the moment. these guys are honest, on time, and trustworthy.
