Dan's Overhead Doors & More

There was a latch that was preventing it from closing. They removed it. Problem solved.

I called several companies, and Dan's was the only one who responded to my call in a timely manner. Of all who responded, they were also the only ones who could send out a tech within the next week. When the tech arrived, he was courteous and polite. He replaced the door opener that day, and tweaked the door bearing and pulleys as well. When all was said and done, he did leave behind some screws, nuts and bolts that could have been run over, but he took the time to teach me how to use the new opener.

The salesman was helpful in the selection and knowledgeable. The installer was prompt and installed the entire system in 3 hours. He explained all the functions and answered all our questions. Very satisfied.

I was able to have a tech at my house within 30 minutes of my call. The appointment took just under an hour. He tried multiple ways to fix the door and explained every step. Very friendly and great service. Highly recommend.

I called this morning in a panic because I couldn't get my car out to drive to work. Checked Angie's List and Dan's Overhead Door had an A rating, and even one of the lower ratings were because the price was higher than had been quoted (which could have happened with any provider anyway). A repair guy showed up in less than 2 hours and got the door finished in less than 1/2 hour. Now I can go to work and save my vacation hours for something more fun.

They are excellent. They installed an upgraded version since I time I booked it without any extra charge. They did an excellent job in putting that in. They were right on time and I was amazed by their work. It was a one man show and it was very well done.

I was very happy with the response time as well as the friendly professional service. I was well informed as to what was needed and how it could be repaired. He worked in a very timely manner and cleaned up any mess he made.

Called to have garage door cables redone because one was frayed. They were there the next day. Asked them to call first and they did, Showed up on time and worked quickly and effeciently, Good job!

Man came and took the old door off and installed the new one in about two hours. He did a great job installing the door and adjusted our opener to work with the new weight, as the old door was the original door that came with the garage about 10 or more years ago. He answered all my questions and didn't waste any time completing the job. Was a very nice young man.

THey came out and estimated rather quickly, underbid the competition, and were very professional and nice to talk to. I had to wait for the doors to come in from the manufacturer and had to call to find out if they were in yet, but installation was scheduled and they came out and installed quickly and did a great job. Only thing, the handles did not come in the boxes as they were supposed to. They had to order those again and expected them in a week. 3 weeks later they finally came out to finish the installation. I held payment until that time. Overall, it was still a great experience. THe garage is far warmer and better looking now!

When they gave me an estimate for the door, I told them that the automatic opener did not work and I did not want the new door connected to it. They connected it anyway and it jammed on me. They sent someone over to disconnect it for me. However, once that was done it was several weeks before they installed a handle on the door for me.

I called for service and they were out the next morning...said they would call on their way and would be here about 8-8:30. They called @ 7:45 and arrived early. He repaired both doors, and performed maintenance in about 45 minutes. The repairman was very professional. The price was also very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

I called the company whom I picked from the telephone book. The salesman came right over and was very helpful in helping me pick the doors to chose based on what I was willing to spend and my personal application. I sygned the contract and the salesman told me it would take about 2 weeks for them to get the doors. I told him that I was not in any real hurry so that 2 weeks would be fine. 3 weeks went by and I hadn't heard from them so I called to see when my doors would be in. I was told that the doors just came in that day which was a Friday and we agreed to have them installed the following Tuesday. The installer came over on that tuesday as promised and did a fine and quick job of installing the doors. My electric sensor on one of my doors was not operating properly. The installer showed me the problem and suggested that it be replaced. I agreed and the sensor was replaced. They did want a check when the work was done which surprsed me. I had paid half the cost when I sygned the contract and expected them to send me a bill when it was installed. I had to go to my wife's office to get a check to pay them because she handles the checkbook and I wasn't expecting to have to pay right away but it wasn't that big a deal. I would have rated them a little higher if I hadn't had to wait over 3 weeks for them to get my doors delivered

The whole process, from the temporary repair to the complete installation, was quick and professional.

Overall, the technicians nave been polite and efficient. They clean up after themselves and get the job done quickly. Great service provider
