+ -1 moreworked well for a year and a half, but the plumber took the owners manual and special tools when he left. The faucet is now loose and you need the special tool to tighten it. Benjamin Franklin wants to charge another service call to return what they took.

Description of Work: I chose them because they advertised Sunday appointments at no extra charge, but when I called they wanted an addition $175, so I went without water until the next day. When they say they will reimburse $5 per minute for lateness, it was meaningless because I got no firm appointment time. The charge was double what I paid the last company I used! The plumber, though, was nice and professional.

+ -1 moreWhich than voided an additional year on the warranty due to the leak, it would seem they are more interested in making sales and much less on giving service!!
Description of Work: originally they installed the hot water heater which started to leak due to their poor installation after a number of years.

He gave me all my options and made recommendations. He was on time for the appointment, and did his work quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use him again.
Description of Work: Installed new 40 gallon water heater and removed extra pipes I had in the rafters.

Called twice and apparently they were still on another job without any communication to the next customer. Have another appointment that can't be rescheduled. they want to reschedule for another day which is not practical. If there's a delay we'll pay is a 15% discount, nothing more.
Description of Work: Service on tankless water heater and installation of a new garbage disposal.

Description of Work: Had a hot water heater installed. Bought the Premium Plus and bioben enzyme treatment and got the advantage membership. Service guy was nice, professional, kind. Hot water heater rocks and is not stable. Slight leakage problem. Sunday 2/10/13 our sump pump failed and the lower level of our house flooded. Called Benjamin Franklin for membership service call. Was told they might be able to get to us by Tuesday! Called again today, 2/11/13 and spoke to Dustin, who was like too bad so sad...oh well. He actually said, "it's just the lower level" which apparently doesn't count as an emergency or cause them to bump a member up to a service call ahead of someone with a minor problem ( I understand about first call first seen, but I would think flooding would be a priority over a regular service call).......so anyway, had a different company come in.
