I sent email to Dewit roofing for information and a quote. I was called within 2 hours personally by the contractor. Discussed what I wanted done and when I would like it done. Gave him address and he crawled on roof to inspect. Called that evening and told me what he needed to do and gave the price. Followed up with a quote in email. Gave approval and set the date. He was there with his crew on the day we decided on and was done by evening. I was running late but Tim waited on me. Talked me through everything that had been done. I am color blind so I did let him pick the color of shingle. It looked great! Better than the color that was on before. So bland before. Made the house Pop! Very pleased. From start to finish took one week. Because of how small the house was he could fit it in with only one day to work. Kept me informed the whole way.

It went very well and in a timely fashion. The men arrived early, worked neatly by draping plastic all over the lawn, moving furniture, etc. All tacks and old shingles were picked up and area cleaned beautifully. The new roof looks beautiful. We would definitely hire this company again.

I called Tim early on a Thursday morning as my roof leaked the night before. He looked at where the leak was in my house and then looked at the roof from the outside. He described the problem to me (I previously had my roof redone in 2000 but the contractor who did the work is out of business-wish I was aware of Angie's list then). Tim stated he could put a "band-aid" on the problem, redo half the roof or do the whole thing. After a discussion of options, I decided on the whole roof. I asked for the leak to be covered for the weekend due to rain in the forecast - his crew arrived Friday afternoon and had it covered within 30 minutes. Work was scheduled for the following Monday morning - Tim stated the crew would arrive early but when I had left for work at approx 6:30 am, the crew had not arrived. I got home about 4:30 pm and the crew was finished by 6:30 pm. Tim told me the previous work was shoddy (at best) and noticed holes in about eight other areas. In fact, more plywood had to be replaced than expected and so final cost was slightly higher than estimate. This is a great company. Clean-up was phenomenal, crew was courteous and almost hesitant to accept water from me (it was hot outside). I didn't expect the roof to be completed in one day - a neighbor had work done on her roof and it took that crew almost four days to complete and her house is smaller than mine. Tim guarantees labor for five years, shingles for 15. Leftover shingles were put in my garage in case they may be needed in the future. I will not hesitate to use this company in the future and intend to tell my friends about them - a great company and people!

We knew that our roof was in need of replacement. The shingles were quite loose and there were even a few that had blown off. We weren't sure who to call so we contacted 4 different roofing companies. Tim, from Dewit Roofing Co. came to our home and gave us an on the spot estimate the very same day that we inquired about his services. We appreciated that the actual owner of the company was the person that climbed on our roof and was who we dealt with. He gave us a great price which included items like a ridge vent, name brand shingles, and he even included in our price some paint touching up that was out of the reach of our ladder.When we contacted Tim to tell him that we would like him to do the roof, he immediately scheduled us and arrived on the day he said he would be there. It was a super hot day so Tim and his crew got an early start and finished the entire job in one day. The whole crew stayed until the job was complete. When they left, you would have never even known that anything had been done around the house. They were so meticulous in their cleanup! They picked up every nail and scrap and even went around the bushes and grass with large magnets to pick up anything that had fallen.Our roof is beautiful and we are so happy with the work that was done.We highly recommend DeWit Roofing to anyone who is considering repalcing their roof.

We had a leaking roof. Our neighbor had researched and chose DeWit Roofing, so we had them do an estimate. The estimator was very thorough, climbing on the roof to get an accurate picture of the problems and the costs to fix them. The day of the roofing job, a very professional, efficient team arrived and finished the job in one day. The roof looks great. We really enjoyed working with DeWit Roofing and would never hesitate to use them again.

They inspected my chimney and the ceiling to see where the leak was coming from.They deterimined that water was leaking down the side of the chimney. I had had another company try to sealthe area but it did not work.De Wit torn off the chimney and cut off the stack once I decided not to leave the chimney there. They had to completely rebuildthe peak of the house the chimney has rested against, redo any roofing that needed to be added andinstalled siding to match the house.When they were through, you could not tell where the chimney had been.They completely cleaned up the area and even installed some blown off siding from the side of my house.They were courteous, competent, neat, and worked in a very timely manner so that the job was finished in just a few short hours.It was an extremely hot day also.I felt their charges were reasonable and they did an excellent job. They guarantee their work and I no longer have to worry aboutwater coming through my celing. This has been an ongoing problem for over 2 years.

Had our old roof removed and new installed while we were on vacation.. We were very impressed with Tim and his crews work. We're not easily impressed, however their quality of work was excellent. It was a pleasure working with true professionals.

They did such a great job from the estimate to the clean up!!! They have such a great team, very hardworking. We love the shingles that Tim suggested for us, he even showed me a house with the same singles so I could get a good feel for what they looked like. I thought that was awesome!!! We ended up having to replace some plywood and they only replace what need it. They came out and did the whole project in 1 day. When they left it looked like they hadn't even been there, all of my flowers next to the house looked like they hadn't been touched. I would recommend this company to anyone!!! Just had an overall great experience! Reroofing a house is a a lot of money to most, so you want to make sure its done right!!!

I was referred to DeWit roofing through a friend. Upon talking with Tim Wolfswinkel (one of the owners) he made an appointment within 3 days to meet and give me an estimate. Tim was very personable and answered any questions or concerns I had. I received an estimate on his business card with the cost to re-roof the garage. Did not receive a formal estimate as informed I would. Tim met with me at Menards to help me pick the color of shingles I wanted. I was having a hard time finding exactly what I wanted. So after describing to him what I liked/didn't like about the shingles on display he recommended a color from another supplier. I told him go ahead with the color from the other supplier. Tim's crew was on site with in a week and a half to complete the job. They did an excellent job on the garage roof and they were in and out in about 4 hours time. I met Tim at the job site to look over everything once completed. I loved the color of shingles that Tim had picked out for me. They really accented the colors on the garage for trim and siding. Once I received the final bill/certificate of completion I had a minor question about the charge of the sheeting used on the job. I thought it had been included in the bid but the contractor didn't believe it was included. In order to settle this misunderstanding I was willing to split the difference with the contractor. In order to keep a customer happy DeWit Construction waived the additional charges for sheeting. After my garage roof was done I was really pleased at how nice it looked. So I hired DeWit Construction again the very next week to redo my porch roof as it was hideous looking. This time I received the formal estimate outlining what was/wasn't included in the bid before the job started. I was very pleased with both projects that I had DeWit Construction do. I plan to use them again for the house roof once I am ready for that project.

I contacting Dewit through a phoine number on a yard sign on a neigbors property that had recently had their roof done. One of the Owners, Tim Wolfswinkle, met me at my home within 2 hrs. A thorough inspection was performed and an estimate was deleoped on site. other neighbors had had similar work done, so I knew the approximate price range. The estimate given to me was not the lowest, but not the highest, either. I like how Tim went through the process, showed samples of the material, and provided the pricing so quickly, so i told him to get us on the schedule.Our roof was in poor shape and Tim was able to schedule us within (3) days. On the day they were to start, there was a chance of rain early, so he asked if he could postpone. I really appreciated that because i am in the contracting business, as well, and recopgnized that it was more important to Tim that we have a good product than it was to keep his people busy. They came back the next day, got the work done in 10 hrs and were gone. They were short one roof vent and they came back within (2) days to install it.I stopped by my house during the day to see how things were proceeding. All of the "little things" that Tim described on the first meeting (flashing installation, vent boots being replaced, extra material on the valleys) was in place and able to be seen before the shingles went on. The crew was very friendly and did a fantastic job of cleaning up. You couls not tell anybody was there by the time they were gone.I would recommend Tim and his company to anybody that needed a roof. We just had a couple inch rain and I feel pretty good about the new roof that is on my house.
