Tim was so easy to work with. The work was completed in a timely manner and his crew was very thorough. I would recommend him to all of my friends and neighbors.

Problem with ice dams and gutter drainage during winter. One of the valleys may have been compromised. Contacted Tim via Angie's list and had a reply call and estimate within 24 hours. Given that we didn't know what was under the shingles, Tim priced a couple of options depending on what scenarios he encountered. It did take a couple of reschedules to get the job started, but this was during the rainiest May we ever had and the job was not an emergency. Given the number of reviews where this was the case, this was not an issue. Had my job been an emergency, I would have wanted that type of service as well. Once on site and the crew got underneath the shingles, they discovered their had never been an ice shield installed on the original build. The partial tear off, barrier install, and re-shingle took the better part of the day. The crew was very meticulous on the clean up and Tim walked the job site at the end of the day. The gutters/downspouts had the same timing issue due to the weather, but were installed a week later. They really got tested with all the rain we got. In fact it poured within an hour of the gutter install. This may have compromised some of the joints that were sealed, but it also gave me an opportunity to see everything work together. Throughout the entire experience, Tim kept in contact and and was always asking for feedback and concerns regarding my satisfaction with the work. I truly must commend him for embracing the customer service aspect and making every effort to stand behind his work. While we made every effort to approach the job so I won't need to be up on the roof this winter dealing with ice dams and I hope there is no reason to call him, I feel comfortable knowing that if an issue should arise, Tim has demonstrated that he is responsive to customer concerns.

From the time of the estimate to the finish of the job, the entire process was exceptional. I was kept informed of the timing of when things were going to be done. When there were delays because of the weather, Tim made sure to let me know when the job was going to be done. I originally said that my roof could be done as soon as possible (by the end of summer) but it wasn't an emergency After storms starting blowing off my shingles, I asked to be done sooner rather than later and it was done within two weeks. The crew took exceptional pride in their work and did a great job. I would definitely recommend them.

A storm damaged our garage (not attached to the house) roof. Sent Tim an email using the Angie's list form. He called within 30 minutes. He quoted the job and re-roofed the garage within 48 hours of the initial contact. He was prompt, friendly and anxious to please. His crew arrived and worked non-stop for 7 hours to complete the job before the next storm rolled in. Excellent work, on budget and faster response than I expected. The crew even spent the last 15 minutes searching the driveway for stray nails and cleaned everything up perfectly. Highly recommend Tim as he is honest and does a great job. He even called a week later to be sure we were totally satisfied....never had a contractor do that before. Best contractor experience I have had in a long time.

Tim came out in a down pour and was still able to do his estimate! His team came back 2 weeks later and did the job. His crew was amazing! They striped two layers of shingles and put the new shingles up in less than 6 hours. They did a really nice job with clean up. Tim came to check the work after the job was done and saw that there were a few shingles that looked scuffed, so he had his crew come back the following morning and replace them. The professionalism and workmanship was outstanding! I will recommend DeWit to anyone and everyone!

Tim was wonderful, came out gave me an estimate. Thorough in job, found other areas that needed attention, and pointed them out to me so they could be repaired. Gave estimate on day I called, and was prompt on doing repairs on day scheduled for job. He followed up by phone after to see if I was satisfied. I would recommend him highly.

Tim gave us a good price and arrived with six-man crew on time and completed the job in one day with no problems.

Tim was very responsive from the initial call to provide a bid to the completion of the project. His bid was competitive and the final cost was right on. His bid was detailed and all the work was preformed as described. He provided examples of roof's he had previously done for us to look at. Once we determined color, Tim scheduled the job to start within a few days. Tim's crew showed up on time and worked very hard all day. We had some weather issues so the work was preformed on two different days. Both days his crew did an excellent job of cleaning up when they finished. Tim is very hands on and was on the job with his crew both days they worked. Tim and his crew were a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend Tim Wolfswinkel and DeWit Roofing.

Tim was very prompt and professional. He came within one day of contact to evaluate our roof and give suggestions. He was honest and did not try to up sell us on anything we didn't need (like an entire new roof). The workers came to do the job 5 days after the bid was given. They cleaned up everything, couldn't see one sign that they had been there. I highly recommend them!

The experience was excellent. Original contractor used cheaper plastic air vents. When stormy, the tops would blow off and rain would drain into my attic. Called on Tuesday morning and left message. Tim returned phone call early afternoon. At 5:30 Tim was out to my house and gave a quote. He worked with me on the price to get close to my budget plus upgrade the quality of the air vent. At 6:00 we signed an agreement. On Wednesday, Tim's crew came out and completed the replacement of 15 air vents. In summary, in 24 hours the work was complete and I roof and yard was cleaned. Very quick, highly professional, competitive pricing an genuinely nice people.

Neil designed a plan for our unfinished basement and turned it into a dream space! It was such a smooth process from the first day until the last wall of paint was dry! His construction crew, Jesse, Derrick, Austin and Wade, were so professional, meticulous, thorough and innovative, that is was just a pleasure to have them in our home! They did everything we asked, and MORE!!!!! My husband is retired from education and I have been a teacher (DMPS) for the past 20 year's, and we have lived in 4 new houses and we can sincerely say that Neil Dewit Construction is without question, the most honest and reliable builder we have ever worked with! He will definately build our new house, when we move again! Looking at the finished product everyday has just been so pleasing and wonderful! We can't thank Neil and his staff enough!!!!

Compared to other quotes we were concerned about DeWit Construction & Roofing's short duration of time they said it was going to take them. Their responsiveness and professionalism were great.

Tim provided a quote in late March but the crazy weather pushed the appointments back. We were up on May 16 and the crew arrived promptly at 7:00 am. They helped me get the remaining satellite dish mounting brackets off and then they went to work. Tarps were laid on the lawn areas, to catch any incidental debris. The crew tossed all the material into the dumpster - move it once. They removed the power vent and installed a new bathroom vent hood. We are not doing the lower story at this time, so we wanted the new shingles to match the old as best as possible. Tim did a terrific job with matching - it looks the same from the street. The crew was done by 3 pm. You could not tell they were there. The lawn and driveway were spotless.

It went well. They removed the shingles and found deteriorated sheeting and 1x type older sheeting that needed replacement. Tim called and informed me as well as texting some pics of the progress. Once done the job site was cleaned up pretty well and Tim emailed me the invoice. There was a bit of a hickup on the type of shingles used, but Tim made it right with me and wanted to make sure I was happy. I will definitely contact Dewit again to bid on other roofing work.

.We contacted DeWit Roofing by email and received an immediate phone call from Tim, He scheduled an appointment to meet with us within an hour.Tim was very prompt and personable, He talked with us about the roofing problems. Tim did a thorough examination fo our roof. Then presented us several estimates with indepth explanation. We were given time to respond to Tim's extimates and ultimately made our choice. Tim gave us a very reasonable timeframe for the work to begin and end. He gave us the turn around time he had promised. The team started on time. Throughout the work period they very respect of our property as well as our neighbors. When the job was completed you would not know they had been here, EXCEPT FOR THE BEAUTIFUL ROOF.

It was a great experience. Tim came out the same day I called to talk through the problem, inspect the roof and develop an estimate. Once we notified him he was hired, he and his crew came within a couple days to begin work. The project took 3-4 hours. Upon completion, one of the workers inspected the rest of our roof and pointed out a few things to watch in the future. And you'd never know they were there - clean-up was thorough and the repair blended in well. We've endured a couple heavy rainfalls and no more leaks! I would highly recommend DeWit for roofing projects. We'll be using them again.

We have had several places on our roof leak over the past few years, and we suspected it was an issue with the flashing, because the shingles didn't look terribly bad. Tim was quick in responding to my request for a bid. He showed up at the house and spent quite a bit of time actually on the roof inspecting the current condition of things, and was also very helpful with making recommendations as well as listening to our ideas. We wanted the roof done as soon as possible, and Tim was more than accommodating. Once we called Tim to let him know that we wanted his crew to replace our roof, we were delighted when he called back the next day and said they could get to it the next day. He told me the crew would show up around 7:30am and they were at the house before that time. He also explained that he thought that they would finish up around 7:30 - 8:00pm that evening. The roof was finished, the cleanup done, and they were packed up by 6:30pm. We are very pleased with the overall workmanship and look of our new roof. We would highly recommend DeWit Roofing to anyone looking to replace their roof. The crew did a great job on our roof, as well as keeping the garbage picked up throughout the day. They covered everything around the house to protect the deck, the spa, and the shrubs. Mostly we are very pleased with the look that our new roof has given our home. Well done!

Received an immediate response to our initial phone call. Time was set up for him to inspect the project where an estimate was given. Very courteous both in person and on the phone. Although our project was small, he responded within an appropriate time frame and did an excellent job.

Went very well! DeWit was the first out of 3 roofing companies to respond to my voice mails and also the first to schedule a visit for an estimate. Tim Wolfswinkel arrived on time and invited me to look at the roof with him where he proceeded to point out areas of concern such as cracks in all the sewer boots, an incorrectly installed boot on the electrical mast, gaps in the flashing on both chimneys, the fact that the 2nd chimney's masonry was in terrible shape and lastly that the ridge cap was not done correctly. After which he proceeded to write up an estimate, all of which took approximately 30 to 40 minutes. When it came time to decide on having DeWit perform the repairs, I went with them because of the level of detail Tim spent in pointing out the problem areas and also because the areas all corresponded to areas in my ceilings that were shower water damage. Once I called Tim to confirm that he had the contract, he was able to get a crew out to my house within a few days. They made the repairs and did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards. Lastly, there were two other things that I really appreciated. One was that I had completely forgot to ask Tim about the garage roof shingles (a few where missing from weather) when he came out to give the estimate but when I asked if he could revise the estimate and do the work on the same day, he just threw it in with my current price. The second piece, was that he also took the time to come back and review the work with me. You can tell that he is proud of his roofing crew and their ability to get the job done right which was refreshing. Overall, I highly recommend DeWit for your roofing needs!

The experience with DeWit was top notch from the first phone call to the last follow up call Tim made to make sure we were happy. When I called Tim to get an estimate, I had a leak on my roof that was overdue for repair. He was out at my house in Norwalk in what seemed like just a moment later. He did a thorough inspection but did not take up too much of my time(as others had). He knows what he's talking about, was good at explaining things to me, and I walked away feeling he was the right person for the job. The day of our reroofing, the workers were there early and worked all day knocking out scraping two layers off, replacing boards, and doing the same on a detached garage. Very impressive! I had even decided to trust Tim to pick a color for me based on the general idea of what I wanted and he couldn't have done better. Tim went above and beyond making sure were were satisfied in all areas of the job. I can't say enough about how happy I am with this company. They truly represent how a business should be run to the highest level, offering a good price and stellar service. I highly recommend Dewit construction and roofing. You won't be disappointed.

Tim came by soon after I called to give me an estimate to roof the garage and house. Very pleasant and friendly. Told me what he thought it would take and I didn't quite know if I wanted to do the job or not at that point. He just gave me a verbal amount and after talking with him for awhile I decided to go ahead and have him do a formal bid so he measured it out (he is good enough that he came within a few dollars of the amount that he thought it would come to). I called him back in a couple of days and said I wanted him to go ahead with it, and as it was getting colder he said he would work it in to get it done before it became too cold. It wasn't too long and his crew came in and completed the job in two days. You couldn't tell they had been there from everything they cleaned up on the ground. Did a good job of putting down tarps and cleaning up on the neighbors property. The job was professionally done and looked great when they got it done. Thanks for a job well done!

Tim was prompt and very professional. He measured the roof of our home and gave us detailed quote. We were able to schedule a start. We feel that the quality of work promised and the price quote were were excellent. We are also planning some additional work with this company in the future.

I met Tim through my neighbor as he was over there doing work at that house. I had noticed that the work was done quickly. So I called DeWit Construction for an estimate and decided to hire them. On the day the job was to start the workers had gone to my neighbors house thinking they were going to do her house roof since they had done the garage just a few weeks earlier. Tim showed up and redirected them over to my house. The neighbor and I got a good laugh as she almost got a new roof. Once the workers were at my house they got to work right away. I was happy with the results of their work.

I met with Tim in person at the house and he measured it and gave me the estimate on the spot. He also gave me the Owens Corning website address to look at the shingles and tell him what style and color I wanted. His estimate was by far the lowest of any other bid I had gotten. Because of the quality materials (Owens Corning shingles) and good reviews I had read, I hired him for the work. Originally he told me he had me on the schedule for three weeks from now. Then a couple days later he called and said he could do it the very next day. They were out the very next day and got the job done by 2:30 pm that same day. Everything was cleaned up and they hauled all their trash away. The whole process from me hiring him and getting the work done only took 4 days and what I paid him is just what his estimate said. I would definitely call him if I need another roof replaced in the future.

When we decided we needed a new roof we decided to take bids for the job. We contacted several roofing contractors in the area. We had almost decided on a company when we thought about checking out Angie's list and that is where we found DeWit Construction & Roofing, and am I glad we did! We called that morning, and that very afternoon Tim was sitting at our dining room table going over options with us. He gave us a written bid, explained their warranty and guarantee, and made us feel that as a company their main goal was to have satisfied customers. A few days before they were to begin the job Tim called with the day and time they would be here to do the work. Everything went like clockwork. The work was completed in a timely, professional manner. Customer service could not have been better. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. I know from they way we were treated on the roofing, should there be any remodeling in our future we will definitely be contacting DeWit Construction!
