I was not impressed.

It was fine. I also asked them to work on a water feature, but they were unable to do that; it was beyond their capability.

He was really good we were very pleased. They were prompt and they did a very good job and so fixed the problem. They were very efficient and everything was taken care of right away.

Received a cryptic plan with no follow up.

Service not used.

They were awesome. Very punctual, clean and listened to what we wanted.

The landscape designer showed up in May and we toured my property and talked about what I needed. After a month, I received a note in the mail apologizing for the delay in providing the design. I've left messages asking about the design, but it is now November and I have yet to receive a response or the design.

Just did initial meeting and bid. Had good ideas and gave bid on sight which was very nice. We elected to go with another material for the patio so did not use the company for the actual work. Worth calling and talking to about projects.

Michael was slow to contact me after purchasing the offer despite my reaching out as soon as the deal was purchased. After 4-6 weeks, and 2 re-schedules he was able to come out and assess our property. I did not hear anything for another ~4 weeks and received an email from the assistant that they were backed up and it would be another 2 weeks before the design arrived. 6 weeks after that (~4 months from purchase) I had not heard anything further and requested follow-up. I did receive a reasonably quick response at that point but the offer was for a refund since the design had gone nowhere. The follow-up at that point was prompt and I did receive the refund, however, I have lost more than 4 months on a project I had hoped to complete this year and am extremely disappointed in the communication, follow-through and service. I will not use this company again.

We purchased the $75 Landscape Design deal and received great service from Michael at Colorado Dreamscapes. We met initially with Michael who provided us a professional, quality design based on what we asked for. We then met again to discuss the design and had him give us a bid for the project. It was very evident that Michael is a professional who listens to the customer. We were in discussion with another contractor that we ended up using who had a lower price and was recommended by someone we knew. Otherwise, we would have gone with Colorado Dreamscapes as they were more punctual, communicated much better, and came with with a very creative design.

I purchased an Angie's List My Big Deal for 1200 ft of landscape design from Colorado Dreamscape on March 8, 2011. I prepared a list landscape elements required or preferred for a bark/rock/plant island in my front yard. I called Dreamscape in early May and set up a May 4 appointment at 5:30pm. They did not show up on the appointed date and did not call to apologize or reset the date. I called several more times and finally set up another appointment for May 24 at 5:30pm. Mr. Hosteng did show up and I showed him the area to be landscaped and he took the list of landscape elements I preferred. About a week later a list of possible landscape elements and a cost estimate was left in my mail box (not sent through the USPS). This list was not a landscape design but only a total cost estimate with no specific costs assigned to any of the items listed. On June 8 I emailed Mr. Hosteng and complained that I had not gotten a design or diagram but only a total cost estimate. I said I had not paid for a cost estimate but for a design. On June 9 Mr. Hosteng replied by email that he would get me a design in a week to 10 days.. On July 1 I sent Mr. Hosteng an email that it had been three weeks and he had not yet submitted a design. I said if I did not get a design in 7 to 10 days I would contact Angie's List and ask for a refund. On July 3 I received an email saying a design would be submitted in a "few days", or if I preferred a refund would be provided. On July 6 I requested a refund via email. An email was received on July 7 stating that a refund would go out in the mail that day. I received the check the next day and immediately cashed it.

We first called Colorado Dreamscape along with 2 other landscaping companies to bid on our project. All 3 came in within a few thousand dollars of each other, but I was impressed with the design that Michael developed. We could tell that he had spent time on the layout and actually listened to our need/wants. When we actually hired Colorado Dreamscape we were happy to hear that the work could start right away and that all would be finished within 4-5 weeks. Michael had ideas of what the pond with waterfalls would look like, but was open to suggestions that my husband had. We were able to pick out some of our plants and trees and Michael was knowledgable about which would work well. All workmen came on time, were professional and left our yard clean. Our water feature and backyard were finished within 5 weeks and on budget!! We couldn't be happier and have had lots of compliments. Very satisfied customers!

I contacted the company within a month of purchase and had to leave a message. I didn't hear back. I called again but nothing. I finally received an email from Michael stating he would call when he got a chance. I didn't hear back again. I finally received an email from a lady saying that they were busy and someone would come out when they could. Didn't hear anything for awhile. I finally heard from Michael and we went back and forth trying to find a date to fit. We settled on a Sunday. He said he would come out after church which I assumed would be around 11am. Around 12:30pm I didn't hear anything and sent him a text asking when he might be over. He said around 1pm. Then around 1:40pm that day I texted Michael asking if we should reschedule because I had things I needed to do that day as well. He said it is up to you I'm real close to your house and I'll be there in 10. He finally showed up at 2:15pm. We sat on the front step and on his laptop showed me some work he had done in the past. I explained what I had in mind in terms of design. He took measurements, said he would be back in touch. I have not heard from him since.

He told us that he would have something done in 2 weeks. He ignored our emails and calls. When he finally called he stated that he finally had a plan made for us. It then took more phone calls and emails to actually get the results done. The plan is unusable for our situation, because we wanted a low maintenance plan. He ignored to do some of the things that we discussed, and really did nothing that we had asked him to do.

They had some good ideas, although the "landscape plan" was more of a crude diagram. I couldn't afford to have them do the actual work, but did use some of their ideas in my yard.

I hoped to take advantage of an Angie's List Big Deal by hiring a landscaper through them. I called the recommended company, Colorado Dreamscape, as directed. From the start Michael Hosteng seemed disorganized and disinterested. Nonetheless, we scheduled a time for him to come out and look at my property. At the agreed upon time, we waited an hour with no word from him and them I called him. There was no apology or explanation as to why he didn't show up. We then scheduled another time for 2 days later. Again, he didn't show. At that time I called Angie's list and canceled the work. Amazingly, he called later in the day to tell me he would be in my area and wanted to come by to look at the job!

I am completely satisfied with what they did. My house looks 100% better. They were extremely cooperative, their scheduling was a good fit to me and they were very punctual. The project kept expanding and they also brought things to my attention that I wasn't aware of which I appreciated as well. They were friendly and great to work with and provided a more than efficient service that more than suited my needs.

I had a vague idea of how I wanted to transform the area which prior to contruction had a small concrete patio, some sod that was quickly turning to a field of mud given the wear and tear of our new pet, some day lilies which were trampled as soon as they leafed out and some mulch that flew in all directions when the dog ran. I wanted a beautifull space for humans as well as a minimal maintainance /Safe dog area. Michael was the third landscaping professional that I consulted with and the only one who really spent the time at my home, in my yard to get a feel for what would compliment the existing style of the property. It was fantastic! After hearing what I was hoping to accomplish, the ideas and possibilities started flowing. His and his co worker's creative, one of a kind ideas and suggestions were just what I was looking for. He understood that I was not a fan of 'prefab' materials. The estimate was right in line with another bid I had recieved but the concept and materials were better. I really appreciated that we were able to communicate about all aspects of the job - from start to finish. What developed and what Colorado Dreamscape built for us is a work of art. The concrete patio was covered and extended with individually laid pavers. Two gorgeous planters of granite rock were painstakingly constructed and pea gravel (very kind to canine feet) took the place of the muddy sod. All of the original plants - and there were many - were lovingly potted. I had wanted to keep a few plants for the planters but potting them all was a kindness I hadn't even considered or asked for. It was just done! Tons and tons and tons of rock, stone, sand, boulders, etc. were wheelbarrowed to the job site which saved the lawn and the expense of resodding an expanse of grass. Back breaking labor done cheerfully by an incredibly hard working crew. It rained quite hard all day about half way through the job. Work did not stop. The crew was there come rain or shine. I can recommend Colorado Dreamscapes without reservation based on my experience.

Very friendly and they came out the same day to estimate the price, and the quote was dropped off within a couple days.
