After switching home insurance companies, the insurance assessor had concerns about the state of our roof. We wanted an independent assessment from a professional roofer. We called Jason Evans who promptly did the assessment and determined that the roof was in good shape overall. He recommended another inspection in a few years, and did not recommend replacement just to garner new business. Jason was professional, honest, and a very pleasant person. When our roof does need replacement, we will definitely call Jason first.

A year after having my roof shingles redone, I was found to have a few damaged shingles attached to a loose satellite TV antenna base following a bad windstorm. There was debate as to whether this was a roof repair guarantee issue or not. Jason Evans decided to be honorable and made the repair on the same day at no charge. I have found him and all his workers to be decent, pleasant, highly competent, and work neatly and very clean in all the work done for me. I plane to use Evans Home Repair for all my future home repairs. My neighbors have complimented me on my new roof.

I was on my roof cleaning my gutters, when I noticed missing shingles on the ridge line. I called Evans Roofing (on a Friday), explained my issue and was told they could come out the next day, late afternoon and take care of the issue. Nobody showed up on Saturday. I never received a call until Monday. By that time, I'd found another company. I would have been happy to wait until Monday to have the work done (no rain in the forecast), but I didn't appreciate not hearing something on Saturday to tell me that they weren't going to show up. Everything hinged on not receiving that phone call for two days. I didn't know if he'd blown me off or what, so I had to move on. If I'd gotten that phone call, I would have had Evans do the work.
