I would not do business with this company again. I had work done in November and have been trying to resolve the bill since December. Dickerson Mechanical drug their feet in getting the information that was needed to be sent to my home warranty company so that my claim could go forward into payment. They only contacted them with the information after they applied a late fee to the bill. When I got informed from my warranty company that they received the information and given the details of what I still needed to pay to Dickerson. I went in person to pay the bill with a check for the amount owed. I was received with a horrible attitude when I explained the situation and was here to pay what I owe still. They claimed I owed more than what I actually did and said "well you can pay that but I will send it to collections."

George, Sr.. the owner provided initial estimate after reviewing old system. An estimate of cost was provided in a timely manner and the work was completed as promised. All the work was done in one day. George Jr. and his helpers arrived punctually at 8:00 a.m. and, except for a 30-minute lunch break, worked steadily until about 3:30 p.m. The systems were installed professionally, checked to make sure everything was working, and the few questions we had were answered. Everyone was very professional, courteous, and helpful. The bill and rebate forms were hand delivered the next day and we were told that they would follow up to make sure all is working well and to contact them if we had any questions or problems. The system, after only a few days, seems to be working well and is much quieter than the heat pump we had before. Overall, this was a very good experience — especially given the headaches we've had with other plumbing firms in the area. Not having anticipated the cost, the sticker shock would be the only complaint but that is not a reflection on the Dickerson firm. Their price may be higher or lower (we did not get other estimates) but within the ballpark. We wanted a Trane, because of reviews we read and suspect that their system may be higher priced than others.
