I had two sun tunnels installed and the total time was 4 hours. I was impressed with the work and has improved my appearance in my kitchen and bathroom. I love the natural light! Great job and will hire in the future.

I would highly recommend them! They were very professional and responsible. They showed up when they said they would, and were very nice to work with. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very knowledgeable in their area of service.

It went wonderful. We received the estimate in the Spring but weren't able to do it until the fall. I contacted Lee, our represented and he had all the information and it was installed with in 2 weeks. The installer was so conscientious and considerate of our home as he had to go in and out. He removed his shoes protected our interior. I was very pleased with every aspect of this project working with Houseworks Daylighting. Solutions, Inc.

Lee was very prompt and responsive. He came to the house within a couple of days of my initial call, ordered the skylight and blind quickly, and did an excellent job with the installation. When the installers removed the existing skylight, they found rotted wood and some ants. Lee called me right away for approval to replace the wood, which the installers did, and they also spayed the ants. They worked much of a day without even taking a break and had the job done by about 3 in the afternoon. The new skylight fits properly and seems to be well installed. Looks great! We got two estimates on the project, and while Lee's was somewhat higher -- and he did, of course, change for the additional work -- the price was relatively competitive, and we were very pleased with the result. Responsiveness was a big factor with this project because the existing skylight was leaking, which was causing damage. The 10-year warranty on the installation was also a big factor. We've had problems with the old skylight off and on during the nearly 20 years we've lived in the house. Had it repaired twice, and also had to have drywall work done because of water damage. So having a warranty on the installation was important. I am relieved not to have to worry about it any more.

Called for an estimate. Appointment was made..Representative showed up and took pictures and climbed on the roof to check the skylight. Sent and email estimate whci we declined for now.

I saw the Velux products at the International Builders Show and searched for a local dealer / installer and called Houseworks. After they did not show up to quote the day they said they would, they called me the next day and made another appointment. When they were over an hour late for that appointment I called and they explained they were running late but would be there in about 20 minutes. Once they showed up they were professional (which is a surprise for someone so inconsiderate at keeping appointments or being on time). They were a little unsure of their ability to do the job we wanted but said they would pursue additional installation training at their home office in Illinois and call to schedule a time to do our installation. They called a week later and said they would be at our house at 8:00 AM the following Monday to install the product. When they weren't there by 9:00 I called and was told they would be there in about 30 minutes, which they were. Installation in our home was difficult because of the location we were installing in but the work they did was what I consider very good. They have a good satisfaction policy (we haven't had a problem but they say they will take care of anything we are unhappy with) and the warranty is good. Other than their lack of punctuality and attention to their appointments they do good work. We love the product and would use it again.
