When the men arrived at my house to work the estimate, I was a little confused at first because the truck did not have a company logo on it, the logo on the man's shirt was small and he might have said his name and company but talked so fast that I didn't catch on at first so I thought he was from another company that I asked for an estimate as well. Opps. The man was very professional in speaking and working with me to determine my gutter replacement needs and made some amazing recommendations. In the end we decided to use another company that was cheaper in price, however they ended up not being very good in service so I think that next time I'll have to weigh service and professionalism along with price when determining who to choose for home improvement work.

Bought a home in October that had a faulty repair on the roof. The original repair was done by ClearChoice windows out of Urbandale and they ripped us off. instead of fixing the issue, they installed 2 strips of flashing over the problem area and nailed shingles to it. When they refused to come correct the issue I called Buresh. They were amazing. They had someone out within 24hrs of my call and he did an amazing job at a very reasonable price. I have some windows i need to replace and I'll 100% be going back to Buresh.

They were able to come and give us an estimate right away. We were able to have the window installed within one month from the initial estimate. The crew was careful and cleaned up after.

They arrived on time, were professional, quick and thorough. They walked the work with me afterward and gave me the opportunity to ask any questions. I received a call within an hour of them leaving from the main office asking if I was satisfied. Pretty surprised by that.

I believe it went quite well. Weather conditions were less than ideal for the installation being done in January. Single digits the first day of work with wind chills at zero to just below. The second day was warmer in the low twenties, but breezy. The third day there was a light snow in the morning and the wind was up about 15-20 mph. Not ideal conditions for window and door installation. The crew worked rapidly and got all windows in the first day, the doors the second day, and the outside finishing the third day. My hats off to the crew for working through the cold temperatures three long days straight. We immediately noticed a reduction in outside noise with the installation of the new double-paned windows and doors. We could no longer hear the wind howling outside. :) Sunrise Windows and doors were the reason I ranked quality slightly lower. The order that we and Buresh placed with Sunrise was not properly fulfilled. We ordered a sliding door with internal blinds and the door they delivered came without blinds. Buresh installed the delivered door and will be returning with the ordered door when Sunrise sends them the proper door. The other reason for a quality lower ranking was the Sunrise window locking lever, and screen retention pegs/clips. The plastic sheath on one of the locking levers broke, and two of the plastic screen retention pegs broke as I tested each window after installation. Finally, the Sunrise sliding screen door seems flimzy and does not remain square as it rolls from one side to the other. It was our choice to go with a Sunrise sliding door. If we could have afforded them, we might have gone with all Pella products rather than the less expensive Sunrise, but the Sunrise windows seem appropriate for our house and budget. This was our first experience using Angie's list, and we had not heard of Buresh Home Solutions before using Angie's list. We had a good experience with Buresh, and we would contact them again for windows and doors.

Sales rep/estimator/manager is a decent guy. Personable, punctual, diligent. He did a good job of communicating when there was a weather-related delay in the planned start of the work. Bid vs. final bill were in line. Start of work was in line with what was promised and communications about that were good. Crew was hard working, polite. They did the work in unpleasant (cold, windy) weather but kept hard at it. Considering the nature of the job, it was done quite quickly. That's part of the rub. I'm concerned that it was done too quickly and that some quality details may have been sacrificed to get it done. Won't know until warm weather arrives to see if the shingles relax as they would be expected to if winter hadn't arrived so soon. A major concern for me is that the installers were actually sub-contracted, if I understand correctly. I would have preferred knowing this before the bid was accepted and work began. As the work progressed, the sub-contractor apparently kept shuffling the composition of the crew. I think he was trying to keep up with several jobs and was spread a bit thin. I can understand his perspective - late in the season, try to get as much work done before winter. But from the customer perspective, this had an impact on the work being done on my house, possible quality of installation, and how long it took to wrap it up. One final concern was the placement of a "dumpster trailer" in a way that blocked my garage while my car was in it. We should have had a conversation about this before it was parked, but did not. Sales rep acknowledged this was his responsibility. I'm not upset about it, but it was a communication detail that we both should have dealt with before the end of work. So, overall, I have great respect for the people who did the work. They worked hard and were trying to get the job done under some pressure. I would have preferred to know more about who was actually going to do the work, and I would have preferred that they were not so pressed to get it done that it may not be as high a quality installation as could have been done if they'd been given more time and less shuffling of crew members. Note: I marked that I would not use this provider in the future. In fact, I'd rather have the option to respond, "Maybe". I'd go into it with a better understanding about what hard questions to ask and what answers would be satisfactory to me before accepting a bid.

I had a very good experience with Buresh from start to finish. Jason was very professional when he came out and gave me an estimate. He took the time to go up in my attic and look at the adequacy of ventilation, or lack thereof in our case. We obtained 3 quotes for a new roof and Buresh wasn't the cheapest but they weren't that far off from the other guys. I decided to go with them because the other companies tried to impress me that they could do the job in a single day....thanks, but I'd rather have a major home improvement project like this take a couple of days to make sure it's done right with excellent workmanship. I would consider using Buresh again for other home improvement projects in the future.

Showed up on time, price was fair and as quoted, looked good all summer and I expect it will last.

My home is new. Some of the siding panels were not installed properly - buckling, separating at seams, and some were cracked. Also, the trim around the exterior garage doors was coming down and had been damaged. The builder never came back to replace the defectively installed/damaged siding or the problems around the exterior garage doors.. Buresh came in, replaced all the problem siding, and corrected/replaced the problem siding around the exterior garage doors. Buresh perfectly matched the colors. Now everything looks great. The workers were efficient, courteous, timely, and spotless - they cleaned up everything. I am extremely pleased with Buresh. I definitely recommend Buresh. I will definitely use Buresh again. Great experience. Thank you!

Everything went according to plan. They provided wonderful customer service and communication was excellent. We could call the office whenever we had a question and someone was always there to help. The crew was also excellent. They were very conscientious and hard working. They cleaned up everyday, and they were also good about telling us what they would be doing each day. We were very pleased with the entire project.

I can't say enough positive things about our experience. My wife handled getting everything set up, and Dina was as friendly and helpful as you could ever want. She worked around our schedule for the estimates and work, which was appreciated. Everything was timely, the men that performed the work were very courteous, friendly, explained the options/work very well, and the work looks great. Did I mention the price was VERY reasonable as well? We will definitely be utilizing Buresh for anything else we need that they provide services for.

I was very impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of their representative (Jason) as well as the folks who performed the work. I received quotes from 2-other contractors but Buresh was much easier to work with and they were competitively priced. The work went well and was done in the time promised. They were very good at keeping the fence gates closed and cleaned-up when they had to leave for the day. My roof looks great! I would gladly use Buresh again for any future work (expect to use them for painting the house next year). Highly recommend !

Brian is easy to work with. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. The work was completed on time and to our satisfaction. We would definitely use him again.

Brian and his crew did a good job. They showed up as scheduled and completed the job in the timeframe committed. Brian inspected the work himself and had his foreman make the couple of corrections/clean ups that were required.

Their service was very good. They built the gutters and dropped them off. I put them on and they came back to make sure everything was working well and fit properly. It took them about hour to make the gutters so it moved quickly. I only used them this one but already plan to use them again.

They are very good and they are very reliable. The owner is delightful and they stand behind their work. They will fix any issues that come up. The price is very competitive as well. They did the windows in a timely manner. They replaced nine windows in total. Brian Buresh is in charge and is very pleasant and easy to work with. He is very energetic about the work. I have had all the jobs bid on and this company had the best quote. I have recommended them in the past and it has been interesting to watch his business grow as we were some of his first customers.

The service turned out very well. The professionalism and the quality were very good. We were very pleased and we would definitely consider using them for further work. They did the work on time and that was good as the work was a struggle.

They were excellent. We had no complaints. They showed up the day they said they would and finished on time. We had no issues scheduling and they were pretty easy to get in contact with. I would this company again.

Their service was really good. There was a leak inside my room. They first thought it was coming from somewhere else, so the fixed the flashing around that area. It was still leaking so they came back and determined it was the window. They then ordered the window and came back to replace it. My windows are shelter windows and I was told by Buresh that the manufacturer went out of business, which is true. I found out later that another company had bought all the pieces. I probably could have done it cheaper through them. However, they were prompt and eager to solve problem. It was a little costly, but overall I’m pleased with window. It looks and works great.

The service was fine. They cleaned up after they were done and they kept me informed on what they were doing. The quality of the work was good.

It was twice as expensive as they said it would be and took them twice as long to complete. They forgot all about it and never called to schedule, even though they had already taken my deposit. I had to call them to get them out here. Once they did the work, it was done very well. Just getting them out here was the hard part. They originally bid around $275 but it ended up being over $500.

They were very good. They were very thorough in their work. Their price was reasonable. They started the work on time and also finished on time. There were no issues once they finished and they cleaned up very well.
