In the house I rent, the bathroom was leaking somewhere into the side of the house and running out of the soffit. I called them initially and asked them to come and take a look to see what it could be. They said they thought it was a pipe underneath the tub. My landlords initially wanted an estimate of the potential repairs, which was never done. Schroeders initially said week 1 that there were parts to order. Week 2 they said they were waiting for a dry day to do the work. Week 3 I stopped in on Tuesday and asked what the holdup was. They said they had been extremely busy and would hopefully get to it that week. I finally called another plumber on Thursday of last week. They were there Friday with what turned out to be a minor fix. (Sealant under the drain was corroded.) My landlord also called them on Thursday of last week to tell them to forget about it. They seem to be too busy to service the everyday person. They have poor customer service, poor punctuality, and extremely poor professionalism.

Everything leaked initially but they did return to fix when called on these. Third shower after completion, a hole blew out through the drywall, saturating the bathroom floor and new walls. When called they came and fixed the pipe but refused to assist in fixing hole in brand new wall. They felt it was done by the contractor, Floor to Ceiling. This made no sense. After several heated phone calls they agreed to pay half if we used their drywall person. The owner was to call us to set up time. Of course we never heard back from owner. We hired Dr. Drywall on our own and paid complete job. Dr Drywall was wonderful and very reasonable. We would recommend him to every one!

We had to get our furnace looked at because it was not lighting. Schroeder's needed to order a switch and said it would be about a week for part to arrive. A week went by and we heard nothing from them, finally got a hold of them and they said it would take longer to get part. They were very sketchy as to when it would arrive. Months later the switch started clicking and something was sparking. We called to make appointment to have it looked at and they didn't show up. Had to call to set up another appointment. They said the problem was common and just had to put in ground wire, which they should've done in the first place. Their employee Nate is very friendly, we had him a couple years ago, so I assumed when Spencer came the service would be as good. I was kind of disappointed.

Ended up having someone else come out to actually fix the problem. Cost an extra 2000 now because there was a lot of damage.

there were no services peformed since they never returned our phone calls when we were in the market to replace our water heater with a tankless model. Their non-response was very disappointing since we had used them in the past several times.

They were busy on a couple of other jobs. There was another problem I wasn't aware of, and it turned out to be two separate issues: Schroeders probably could have fixed it all, but I had the other company there as well.

They came and fixed the pipe and left.

Called to set up an appointment and they did not show up, days later I set up and appointment and they were an hour and a half late. The plummer was nice and explained everything to me but when you are working about 200 hours a month it was really hard to find a time that would work.

Very well. They were prompt in their service and willing to answer any questions that I had. Since there was no heat one night, they offered electrical heaters for my comfort. The boiler had a couple of problems when first installed, and Schroeder's crew was to our house quickly to make the needed adjustments. We've also used Schroeder for plumbing jobs (snaking a floor drain, fixing a non-flushing stool, etc.) and they are always good at coming on time and completing the job.

They are fantastic. They will go places that other companies will not go to. You can ask them anything, and they will be happy to answer your questions--they go out of there way to help. They are also very clean and will not dirty up your house.
