This is a Great company! I tried to fix the faucet myself and ran into a bit of a snag. They were at my house in 15 minutes! The serviceman was very professional, had the parts needed in his truck, fixed the problem, and best of all the price was Very reasonable. I would highly recommend them.

Great! Called on Monday 3/14/16, Ron Valenta came to my house, checked the job site and gave me a quote. Tuesday 3/15/16 they installed the best Tankless water heater and got rid of the tank type water heater that Master Plumbing did not fix but made worse. The Navien NPE-240A-NG Tankless Water heater was expensive but worth it. It has been able to provide steady hot water when 2 showers and the dishwasher were running. In the past 7 months it has been in service, it has always been able to provide more hot water than we could use. I highly recommend Valenta Plumbing for their prompt repair service and the Tankless water they sell.

Bryce from Valenta did an excellent job. He worked very quickly, was personable, and gave lots of good advice on how the improve the condition of the plumbing in general. He worked well with our needs, our budget, our schedule, and our pets.

They were able to schedule the installation for the same day I called. The plumber called me when he was ready to head my direction, around the expected time and then arrived as expected. He removed and installed the new unit. I've enough plumbing knowledge to know that he did a good job. It was completed in a reasonable amount of time. He was responsive to questions and paid attention to protecting carpet and other things while he moved equipment in/out and worked. Valenta continues to be my go-to plumber in Cedar Rapids.

Called late on Thursday to schedule. They coordinated with the city to replace my meter and shut off water and called back in under 15 min, with a schedule for the next morning - which worked perfectly. The plumber arrived about 30 min behind projected time, but their office had already called to let me know they were responding to an emergency and what the delay would be. A+ for communication and knowing they were taking care of priorities. He was professional and did good work. I know enough to know he was doing the work right. No drips! Good quality valves installed. I haven't had them here for a few years - thankfully - 'cause its plumbing. Had good experiences in the past too. Will continue to use them for my wet work.

They were excellent. The price seemed fair.

Seal on the toilet was leaking and the tank has been loose for a while, and since the toilet was original from 1986 I decided to replace with new. They did a nice job and took extra time to clean up, remove the old toilet, etc. Definately will hire again for suture plumbing needs! gn

Had Valenta replace water heater that was going bad. Weather didn't cooperate with us for a couple days but that's just the way it goes in the winter in Iowa. When on jobsite they were very professional. They came in with the appropriate materials and swapped it out in a short amount of time. Especially appreciate that they used solid copper lines for re-connecting the new water heater to the existing lines instead of using PEX (nothing against PEX, just prefer similar metals). At the end of it all, the project even came in under budget, not by much, but under none the less. This is the second job I've had them do for me and will continue to use them in the future.

They came when stated, but the workers left three times to go back to the shop to 'get parts'. I ended up being charged for all of the time - work and travel. Way over charged for the toilet part. Could have bought it at Walmart for 1/3 the price.

Price was competitive. Very pleasant installer, on time, good job. Next day my washer had an error message that said hookups for hot and cold were reversed. The plumber had not done anything with regard to the washer, but when I called Valenta they sent someone to check. He found that the hookups to the washer were indeed reversed, but they had been that way for over a year since they were installed by the seller. Apparently the old water heater had been so inefficient that the washer could not distinguish between hot and cold! Valenta did not charge for the second call.

They were very good. I have no complaints.

They couldn't come for 4 days. They said they would be there at 8:30 - showed up at 10:30. Don was pleasant. Toilet seems to be fixed. Would use again but not enthusiastically.

They have installed garbage disposal, water heater, water softener, sink w/vanity, etc. etc. over the years. Have always found them to be priced competively, punctual, professional and pleasant to work with.

Arrived on time. Diagnosed problem quickly. Had to leave and get a part for repair, but was not gone long. Came back and performed repair. Explained everything they were doing along the way. Told us that the part was under warranty and that they would take the initiative to contact the water heater company and file the warranty claim. In the end, they did not charge us for the part, only the labor to repair. Very happy with their professionalism and willingness to not stick us with the warranty hassle. Will use them again!

Jim was the plumber that worked on our jobs and I would highly recommend him. He was professional and very courteous. I was pleased with the way he cleaned up after everything was done and answered my many questions. He's a great asset to this company. When we initially called, the appointment was set up for the next day between 9 - 11 AM. Around 11:30, I had to call the office again because we hadn't heard from anyone. Eventually they called back and said someone was en route. Jim arrived around 1:15. I had the day off from work, so this wasn't a problem for me, but still worth mentioning to any future customers. Regarding price, I really have nothing to compare it to... so in all fairness, I cannot give it a strong rating one way or the other. I will use them again in the future (as needed) and will likely ASK for Jim.

A great experience. He came on time as arranged for the estimate. He was knowledgeable and professional. He suggested work that was also needed and explained clearly why. He returned at the arranged work day on time and set right to work. I knew cleaning out the drain to the street was a probable need and he scoped the pipe and discovered it was necessary. He said his equipment was not of sufficient length to do the job so he used his contacts to arrange - immediately - for another company to come and to that work. This meant no delay in completing the task. He finished the job within the time he estimated and came slightly under in cost. He then cleaned the up his work and left the basement in good order. A truly wonderful experience all around!

Tom Valenta came to the house and gave us a "phased" estimate. If phase one fixed the problem, then following phases could be eliminated. Unfortunately, we needed to do them all to solve the problem. We experienced a personality conflict with the first plumber and spoke to the owner, Mr. Valenta. He sent a different plumber the next day. The second plumber was very professional and pleasant. It should be noted that the plumbing work that both plumbers did was outstanding. We live in a house that was constucted in 1913. So, there were some challenges. Mr. Valenta and his people rose to the occasion and solved our problem (low water pressure on hot water side of fixtures) to our complete satisfaction. Part way through the project we ran into a problem that required a new estimate, Mr. Valenta provided an new estimate for this part of the project and brought the whole project in under budget. We are very pleased the the end result and the final cost. We have already recommended his firm to other friends of ours.

The work was fine, but the billing was confusing and very high. The plumber was actually in and working on my house for about 1.5 hours but they billed for 3.5.

This company finished the job in a few hours and I had a good experience with them. They were very professional and knew exactly what they were doing.

They are responsive and treat you right.
