Description of Work: I hired Tom Takes on the recommendation of a satisfied customer, and I am very pleased that I did. Tom was very helpful from beginning to end of my project, and even helped me with a couple of unexpected side jobs. He also led me to subcontractors that I have used on subsequent jobs, and would use again. He made the whole project move as quickly and smoothly as possible, and I am very pleased with the result.

Description of Work: I am in the middle of a kitchen remodel with Tom Takes Construction. He has been helpful and prompt at every turn. The work so far looks very good and I expect to be in my new kitchen by the end of the week.

+ -1 moreI would not recommend Tom Takes Construction for any type of work. I give Tom Takes an F on professionalism and responsiveness. After contacting Tom to give me a bid on a kitchen remodel, he has never responded nor given me a quote nor contacted me in any way to tell me why he has not responded. After first contacting Tom about a project that I needed a bid on, he set up time promptly to take a look at the project I wanted completed. He indicated it was something he could do and spent over an hour of my time going over details. Tom said he would get a quote within a couple weeks. 5 weeks have gone by and I have contacted Tom twice for a follow up. Still no response. As a professional contractor, an email or phone call indicating he didn't want the job or an explanation as to why he has not responded would have been appropriate. Very poor service! Would not recommend.
Description of Work: Never got a quote after spending time going over the work I wanted completed. Very poor professionalism.
