We found Lynn from a friend's recommendation and from knowledge that he did installations for a highly reputable company. We had him quote installation; then bought and had him install an 8' wide sliding patio door. Installation was excellent; as was the price. We then had him quote, and bought all new windows, siding and covered front porch from him because of our previous experience, and had him do all installations. The porch was designed by him from a description of what we desired. We also had him remove our existing front door and sidelights and install one which we purchased All his employees were friendly, took care not to cause us problems in any way, and maintained a level of professionalism. We did not require a definite completion time and allowed him to perform much of the work as fill-in for his heavy schedule. We had an existing roof shingle that was discontinued, and Lynn took extreme care, going beyond the call of duty, to match our existing roof nearly perfectly. Frequently, he would perform extras without adding to his quoted pricing. Lynn obtained the permits and even picked up the doors which we had bought from other sources. All communication was excellent. Since he was not working from a strict schedule, I was especially pleased that he was still motivated to complete the work in a timely manner. One problem is that he was obviously very busy, even during the prevailing economy, and just may have to be given adequate lead time for scheduling. Lynn obviously does most of his work for new housing. If you can live with his schedule, we highly recommend him.
