 + 0 moreI called to request an appointment for cleaning our air conditioner on a Monday and they were able to do it that Thursday. Service man arrived right on time and was very friendly and personable. Explained all that he did and provided the form to mail in for a rebate from Alliant. Anytime I have to call in to the office, I am treated like we are the only customers they have! Very friendly and helpful staff! We have recommended them to others.

 + -1 moreRegarding January's call, Lin's responded and the next day replaced a faulty gas control valve (likely 50 years old). ($800) For June, it was the same technician as January; he was professional and completed the work expeditiously. The tech was over an hour and half past the expected time but I try to remain understanding (none of my projects go as quick as I feel they should). There were 5.5 inspections ($425)
Description of Work: There have really been two required service calls this year. In January, my tenants reported lack of heat. In June, Lin's performed multiple Fuel Burning inspections on my rental properties.

Description of Work: They come for an annual furnace checkup and have replaced a part for the furnace. I am very satisifed with them. They are very thorough and efficient. They have also given an estimate on a mini split for the front porch.

Description of Work: Was referred to them by a small heating & cooling compnay. The guy the reffered me to Lin's thought it might be a price job, and he didn't have the right equipment.

 + -1 moreCalled after hour service number, got a recording and left message for an emergency service call need. An hour later called again, got a recorded message and left message. Did this again. Never did get a call back. I called as soon as the office opened the next day and they had a technician at our house mid morning.He diagnosed and repaired the problem.
Description of Work: Home furnace they installed a few years earlier stopped working in zero degree weather around 6pm.

 + -1 moreOur central air conditioner was developing loud vibration noises and was not cooling very well. We called LINS because of numerous good experiences with them in the past. LINS scheduled an appointment quickly and even arrived a little ahead of the appointed time. The performed a standard check of the system and discovered that the refrigerant was a little low. They recharged the refrigerant and tightened all the sheet metal screws to eliminate the vibrations. The unit now runs like new. The service technician was very professional.
Description of Work: We had them perform a standard central air conditioner inspection, and they ended up adding refrigerant when it was discovered during the inspection that the level was low.

 + -1 moreThree of the check-ups were uneventful. The company representative said that our second furnace might have a cracked heat exchanger, that the flame wobbles, but he can't see crack. Recommended we get CO2 detector.

Description of Work: New A/C, new furnace. Punctual, professional. Couldn't have asked for any better. Also have a friend that used them. When the furnace motor unexpecedly went out after a short time they replaced it promptly under warranty, came out the same day called, and were very professional about it. Also they accidently left a box in the side of the basement (easy to do as we were in the middle of a remodel with items everywhere), called, and same day they came and picked it up. My friend recommended them, he does lots of work on houses, and I am so glad he did! Price was also about $500 less than the other bidder.
