+ -1 moreLempe's arrived on time, quickly identified the problem (required a part to be replaced), and scheduled an appointment for the repair once the part came in. They were able to get the part in earlier than planned and I was able to arrange an earlier time for the repair that fit both our schedules better. Repairman showed up right on time and quickly repaired the dryer. These guys were top notch and I'll hire them again next time there's an issue with any of my appliances.

Description of Work: The service call was for reduced water flow to the door of the side-by-side refrigerator. The repair person checked a couple things and determined it was the filter head. The repair person gave me a couple of options to fix the issue and based on our discussion an option was chosen ~~ and the repair person fixed the problem. The water flow to the refrigerator door works fine now.

+ -1 moreHe bought his son with him and had him complete the work and just watched his son. 6 months later it started leaking and I ran into him in a local subway where I told him it was leaking. He told me he could come back out but I would be charged again. I think a company should stand behind there work within a 6 month time frame.

Doug Lampe came quickly, made an initial diagnosis, which he verified with a call to his factory rep., who had the part to him by overnight delivery. Doug installed it the next day. Lampe's is a simple, quick, no-nonsense, low key service that consistently gives outstanding service. Don't look for a fleet of trucks with a fancy logo on the side with a repair team coming and going. Doug is the only person we saw. He's pleasant with a quiet sense of humor who is obviously eager to help.
Description of Work: Two visits: first to diagnose the problem with our Whirlpool washing machine and then, two days later, to replace the pressure sensor. The result was entirely satisfactory.

Description of Work: Lampe Appliance did a diagnostic on a fridge that is about 10 years old that was exhibiting intermtten issues. No pressure to replace a bunch of parts but just suggestions on what to try first if the fridge started acting up again. Replaced the first part recommended after the unit started acting up again and now it works perfectly! Thanks!

Description of Work: My dryer wouldn't start, though all sensors were working except the start button. The tech spent 45 min. the first day, then he told me I needed either a new front panel (computer sensors) or a part of it. He said it would run $200 - $350 depending on actual need. He ordered the parts, and returned promptly. He only needed the less expensive part, so with tax, the cost was $228. He spent over 30 min. this time. The service charge was only $78.

+ -1 moreI appreciated the service which took one of the problem and also appreciated comments about what their company has seen as far as the good quality of this refrigerator even though it is an older model.
Description of Work: Lampe serviceman explained the problem with my refrigerator which was not cooling or freezing properly after a 12 hour power outage. Inside coils and defroster unit wear frozen. He spent one hour sitting on the floor next to my bottom freezer unit defrosting coils and lines.
