When we called for an estimate, Ken was very responsive; came out the next day. When we called to schedule the installation, we had a hard time getting a call back. I finally tried e-mail and had a response back right away. I later found out that the emails are answered by Ken's wife and that he had been very busy on several jobs. Once the install was scheduled, we had to push it out a few days because our flooring had not arrived. Ken was very understanding and we made an appointment for the following week. On the day of the install, they showed up and were ready to work. Overall, the quality is fantastic. There are a few small things that we noticed after the fact, but did not have them come back out. Ken obviously knows what he is doing and has a young man helping him, who also does a nice job. They worked hard and it was worth the money.

The only response that I received was: and quot;Thank you for contacting Five Star Hardwood LLC regarding your hardwood needs. Five Star is currently booked solid through the month of January and into February 2013.and quot; No offer of doing the estimate. From their email I assumed that they were not interested. We would have been willing to wait until February, but the email didn't give us any further reason to contact them. We went with a contractor who was responsive via email.
