+ -1 moreThe handyman was very nice and did a good job of keeping me informed of his progress, plus asked me questions when he wasn't sure what I wanted. He arrived early. I am very satisfied with the actual work that he did. He seemed knowledgeable and did a thorough job. I expected the job to take 5 to 5.5 hours total and I was charged for 7.5. The hourly charge ($50) is reasonable, but I felt like he purposely stretched things out to make a full day of it, when the jobs could have been done in about 3/4 of a day. He was basically done after about six hours, but kept finding things to do for that last 90 minutes that really didn't need to be done (and that I did not ask him to do). We will not be using Done Done again, basically because of the cost.
Description of Work: Two jobs were completed, both on the outside of the house. One was electrical, one was installation.

+ -1 moreI think the price was too high. I was never informed that there was a 20% markup on the job. They told me the materials we going to cost approximately $30, and when they were done it was $89. To be fair, he did have to go and get more caulk. However, because of that, the time was extended and caused me to pay more. The guy was nice and the job was fine, but I feel that they kept these extra costs from me before hand. I wont be going back to them for services again.

+ 1 moreIt went well except the two hours that we paid for after he got here, we actually only needed him for one hour or so but other than that, he did a really great job and was very personable. He was just faster than what we thought. I would certainly use them again. The price was good except we couldn't find anything else for him to do right away for an hour than he just prepared for. He was earlier than we anticipated.
Description of Work: He fixed a latch on a back door, he put new insides to our ceiling fan and he fixed a light bulb situation/connection in the kitchen.

Description of Work: Did not use this contractor as the estimate was nearly 3 times the cost of the vinyl flooring we were getting installed. Plus, the quoted cost was more than twice what other providers we contacted were willing to do the work for. We decided not to have the work done at this time, however, and are considering our options.

+ -1 moreTanya and Dillon from Done Done were meticulous and thorough in their cleaning. They cleaned my kitchen appliances inside and out. They washed and polished the front of the kitchen cupboards. Much care was taken with wiping both sides of my blinds. In addition to the normal cleaning tasks, they vacuumed my furniture, removing the cushions to get both sides, vacuumed my drapes and steam cleaned my tiles. I am beyond satisfied and highly recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: I have been in contact with numerous home contractors over the past few months, and I have a personal rule that if they do not follow through with their estimate without me calling... I will not use them. I used Angie's list to find a good contractor to help us through the process of remodeling an old home. When I did not hear back from them after three weeks, I completed the review on Angie's list and rated them D for lack of follow through. Immediately, the owner of the company called and apologized, as our papers were misfiled and had they not seen the review, that would have been the end of the business deal. My husband and I were both impressed that they admitted they'd lost us in the paper shuffle and got the bid to us immediately. This speaks volumes to us, as few contractors have the discipline to follow through. Clearly, it was an honest mistake and they hold up to their ratings given them on Angie's list. We do plan to utilize their services. I gave a B for price, as contractors will generally be more expensive, as they are a 'one stop shop.' If I hire out my own electrician, plumber, etc... it is obviously less expensive. This I understand. I am not able to give them an A, as I've not compared their bids with other contractors.

Pros: The contract did a great job, and told me how to go about priming and painting where he added the drywall. Cons: 1) I did not know enough about their billing process, but the company owner was very helpful in explaining all the issues. Thank you Pat.

+ 1 moreI realize that I only paid $99 but I thought I paid for 2 people for 4 hours or for 1 person for 8 hours. What I received was 1 person and her daughter for 2 hours. I told them that they didn't have to dust all the knick knacks but to just move them so the actual furniture could be dusted so I would have thought a bit more time would have been spent in other areas. Typically I would run a dust mop over my floor before wet mopping them to make sure that all the dust, hair, food particles, etc. were swept up first but that wasn't done either. I know all this because I was home at the same time they were cleaning. I was also under the impression that they would be bringing their own industrial type vacuum but they didn't so they used mine which was no big deal but I was expecting some great type of vacuum. So for all the "A" ratings that were received I was really disappointed. The person that came was very nice but I would probably rate the actual cleaning a C to C-.

Would definitely hire the company again, although the price is a little high. But it was my choice to use them for painting instead of other repairs. Tanya, the head of the Residential Cleaning department, called me back right away and scheduled a visit to do the estimate. She was very professional and I felt very comfortable having her in my home. We were happy with the price of the estimate and scheduled for two people the very next Monday. They were right on time, did everything they said they would and even (for a small extra charge) helped me organize all the tiny pairs of shoes in my daughters two rooms! WHEW! That was a chore! I am a busy mom and would rather spend my time with my kids than cleaning cleaning cleaning! It was well worth the money. I liked Tanya and her staff so much that we have signed a contract for a biweekly clean. Our house looks great for Easter and I owe it all to Done Done Services!

I work long hours, so my fiancé has to keep up with the children and work her job as well. Our home was the one thing being neglected. So we called Done Done Services, they came in and did a deep clean. My fiancé was so pleased with the work and how professional, she has asked to have them come in weekly.
