 + 0 moreI couldn't be more pleased and would recommend Dave for almost anything you want done. He was pleasant, prompt, and neat and at a very reasonable price.
Description of Work: The ceiling including drywall and insulation had fallen in during a heavy rainstorm. Dave came shortly after that and gave an estimate for insurance purposes. After the roof was repaired, he came to ascertain what materials would be needed, etc. After he had the materials, he came again to clean up the mess, remove damaged drywall and insulation and thoroughly cleaned up the room. It was a dirty nasty job on a very hot day. Next day he came and installed new insulation and drywall in a way to avoid removing the crown molding. Cleaned up the mess. Next day early he came again to apply another coat of drywall compound and smooth the surface. He came once more to finish the surface and applied a primer coat of paint to to drywall and surrounding area. Also adjusted a sliding door that was sticking.

 + 1 moreI was given the name of the owner from my realtor. Prior to purchasing the house, I wanted to be assured that a 1/2 bath could be added. Joel came and gave a very fair estimate. He was prompt in returning my calls during the whole process. Joel and another person came and put in the new plumbing and electrical that would be needed for this bathroom. They were both professional, and thorough with their work. Joel helped me walk through the process of getting the building permit and telling me the order in which I would have my carpenter return, sheet rock installed, the flooring laid, etc. I would not hesitate in using this company again as well as referring them to others.
Description of Work: Did electrical and plumbing for a 1/2 bath I am adding to my house. Once the carpentry work is completed, they will return to set the sink and toilet.

 + 6 moreI had about 25 gallons of water pour into the basement due to a leak in the water tank of the main floor toilet while out of town. I had 3 bids and Mr. Ellingson was the only contractor who found I had termites which was a big deal. He gave me a date he could begin and he did honor the start date of the job. He completed the work way above expectations and on time.I would highly recommend DJE Construction. He is licensed and insured.
Description of Work: Had water damage in my dated basement of a 1929 yr old home. Replaced the cardboard water logged ceiling with dry wall. Recessed lighting. All new trim work. Rewired the outlets. Repaired a leak in a water pipe. New carpet.
