D & N Fence

D & N gave me what I needed to repair the fence for free!!!! I certainly didn’t expect that.. Thanx !!!

D&N came on schedule to measure for the estimate. The person was courteous and listened to my concerns on the gate on one side of the fence. The estimates came by mail within a few days as promised. D&N's estimate was a little cheaper than the estimate from another provider for the same quality. I hired D&N to provide the service. D&N called within a week to schedule an installer. The actual date for installation was two eeks earlier than initially anticipated. The installation went smooth. The installer was very courteous and knowledgable to answer our questions on the fence. Overall, the installation was completed very professionally. I was very happy with D&N's service. I would highly recommend them for another fence installation.

They were excellent. Came at specified time for estimate, called a few days prior to installing to let us know they were planning on coming the following week, weather permitted. They called the day prior to coming, arrived on time and finished the job quickly and efficiently. We asked to have a larger gate rather then the one they had, they returned the following day and installed the larger gate. Very professional!

We were mostly pleased with the process and result. The company was quick to respond for to our request for a bid and to work with us as we made modifications to the plans. They were good at explaining the different products and pricing. I was able to be home when the fence was installed which was good as the crew needed extra direction for exact placement. They arrived on time. They did not have fully charged batteries on some of their tools and I actually ended up loaning a tool and electric cord so they could continue work while they charged theirs. They were able to complete the project in one day which was great. Since we replaced only a part of the old fence, holes were left in some spots from the removal of the old fence, and the crew missed filling in a few. They also missed pieces of the old fence when cleaning up. We really like the finished project and the quality of the product.

Installed a gothic picket fence. They were great and the installation was a breeze. I would recommend them to anyone.

They got to our job more quickly than they had predicted. The fence was completed quickly, seems sturdy, and looks terrific. They worked with us to come up with a solution for avoiding a manhole that was right on the property line where the fence should have gone. We had decided on one work-around at the time of the estimate, but decided before it was installed that we wanted to change it, and they could not have been nicer or more accommodating about the change. We called ahead of time, and were told that it would not be a problem, and just to talk to the installers when they came. The day of installation we discussed it with the installers, and they made suggestions, listened to our concerns, and came up with a workable solution. The final installation looked exactly as expected. My only (minor) complaint is that they could have cleaned up after themselves a bit better, as they left several large pieces of the vinyl covered chain link on the ground in various places around the edges of the fence. All in all they did an excellent job, and we are very happy with the fence.

The folks from D and N Fence Co came out promptly to give us an estimate. (As opposed to 2 other companies - one didn't showed up, another came but never sent an estimate). After we scheduled the work they showed up on the day they said they would - even a little earlier then they promised. They finished the work in about 4 days. The fence looks very nice and is very sturdy because they set every post in concrete. They left us with extra planks in case we need to repair the fence. They also put a fence in at my Mom's new house in the fall of 2012 and she is very happy with it. She consulted with them a little more than we did because she wasn't sure which fence to install. She felt they gave very good advice. She had a chain link fence installed around her large backyard. They completed it in about a day and a half.

One of the employees stopped by to do the initial workup for the estimate and said we would receive the estimate in a few days. He also said their wait time was 3-4 weeks once the contract was signed. A week passed without any response, so we called them. They said we should receive it shortly...another week passed. We finally went with someone else because we needed the fence installed ASAP on our new house to contain our dogs and kids. When we did get the estimate (about 3 weeks after they came out to do the measurements) it was $100 less than the competitor that we went with, but we gladly paid that extra amount to get prompt service.

They were good and did an excellent job.

I thought their work was done well, and the price seemed to be reasonable. However, they failed to clean up after themselves. There were little scraps of metal wiring with a green cover just left on the ground.

The fence they installed had a few small gaps. I called the office about this, because I was concerned my dogs would be able to escape. I asked them to meet me at my home so I could review all trouble spots with them in person. I didn't receive a call back from them, but an employee was sent to close the gaps. Because they didn't bother to meet with me directly, as I had requested, not all of the areas I was concerned about were taken care of. I think their communication and responsiveness are lacking.
