I received a call from them a week after submitting a request. We agreed on a time to meet and they would give me a price quote for work done. They never showed. I received a call from them a week later and we agreed on a new time. They said they would be working in my area so it was no problem. They never showed up for the second meeting. No call, nothing. I just gave up on this individual.

Never even received the estimate

Gary came out and took a look about three weeks before we were ready for the work. He gave us all the information necessary to order our doors and the necessary hardware recommended. Once the doors arrived, he scheduled to come out within the week to do the job. The old storm door was not operating properly due to some issues with how tight the opening was. Gary opened this up and framed in the new door so it would operate properly for years to come. Job started at about 8:45 and was finished at about 3:00. I will definitely recommend and use CREW again in the future.

Gary and his assistant explained everything they were going to do and did a great job. The doors were installed on the day I had scheduled and he finished ahead of time.

Very good carpenter skills . Looks really nice . Only thing I thought was kinda not appropriate was it states in The contract they will use off premises bathrooms and they both Asked to use are bathroom not one but twice . The labor was very expensive beings that it was $750 to just Install the two doors . Their work is very nice but I think $750 is a Bit much .

Sealed the sky light. Will come back if that didn't fix it.

I found People Doors on your website. I call Mr. Tallman and he returned my call immediately, came to look at the door, wrote down exactly everything we needed to purchase and had the quote to us on the same day. Our home is very old and the old door was a very odd size. He did an amazing job of re-framing and installing the door, even with some very strange problems along the way. He always told us what was happening and what might happen. He is very friendly and professional. There is absolutely no way someone without his experience could have handled this project. If you are looking for someone that knows what they are doing, he is the person to call. It is a little more than we wanted to spend, however, it was worth every penny!!! Thank you!!!

Gary was very prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and his estimate was spot on. I work for local architects and engineers and have many years experience in the construction industry. Gary demonstrated a high level of reliability-I was comfortable leaving him with the project well in hand while I didn't miss work. The project was started a little late in the season and they were very accommodating to get it done before the cold set in. In fact it was a bitter cold and icy when I asked him to do the shutters. The shutter installation was added when I realized I would need a 30 ft ladder and couldn't do it myself. The amount he charged was so much less- it was more of a favor! The results were astonishing. It turned out I did not have as much framing damage as I feared. I would recommend Gary to friends, neighbors, and even my own daughter. This review is long overdue. I had so much going on with winter and holidays coming that I just forgot.

My mother needed to have a door replaced and a securitly light installed. Gary showed up to give an estimate and very detailed instructions on what we needed to purchase the very same day we called him. After the items were purchased, he was there that day to install everything. He spent a great deal of time making everything just right. We appreciated the time he took, not only on the installation, but giving us the specifics on what to purchase so things would be right. We will definitely call Gary again for future needs

Mr. Tallman came and gave me an estimate of what it would entail to do the job and the amount it was likely to cost. He gave me different options of what he could do to fix the problems. He was very professional and prompt. He was quik to do the repairs and clean up the job site when finished. He finished the main portion of the work faster than anticipated, so I had him do other minor repairs around my home. I thought his price was very fair.

We had approached a few service providers to fix leaking skylights in our roof. One tried re-sealing them, but they continued to leak, a few others didn't return our calls or didn't work on skylights. Gary was great -- came out to the house as soon as he could (within days) after our conversation, gave me an idea of everything he would be looking for. Even with a busy summer for nearly all roofing companies in the area, his team came out within a week or so to fix the problem, which he showed to me with pictures when he sent the invoice. Our skylights have stopped leaking! I would recommend this company to others.

Gary promptly scheduled a site visit to provide an estimate the same day I called him. He arrived on time at the time he said he would. He emailed me an estimate the same day. He scheduled the installation the following week and the work was done perfectly. I would certainly recommend him and use him again.

Gary Tallman has been my contractor for over 10 years. I first contacted him in 2002 to replace the roof on my home. I was very pleased with his estimate and the work that was performed. He was professional, competent and personable. He made sure I knew what he was doing and why he was doing it. My home is about 50 years old and so items often wear out , need to be replaced and/or updated. He explains everything and will work with you on ideas and alternatives. Many of his alternatives have been better than my original plans. He is generous with his contacts and his knowledge. Over time, he has almost rebuilt my home, fixing and replacing previous shoddy repairs and helping me to choose prudent upgrades with an eye to quality and detail. He responds in a timely fashion, always returns calls and is available for emergencies. He is the first person I turn to when I have a problem with my home and one of the few I I trust to be left alone in my home when I cannot be there and work needs to be done. I would love to clone him and keep one for myself.
