+ -1 moreUsed this contractor since I used him a year ago on a project to extend my back patio. That work was done satisfactorily; however, he subbed it out to another very industrious work crew and when I contracted for this work, I thought they would actually be the ones doing the work. That was not the case. I find it hard to describe the effort expended on the part of the contractor as "work". IF he showed up at all it was seldom for a period to exceed 2-4 hours. I came to believe essentially nothing he said, and eventually deemed him to be totally unreliable and not a viable contracting entity. Work started last June and drug on past Labor Day when I informed the contractor that I desired no further service from him. Was immediately given an additional bill that exceeded the original quote by over 25%. I will not recommend this contractor to anyone and advise anyone who chooses to use his services that you do so ONLY with everything spelled out in very specific detail...............in writing. Do not under any circumstance enter into any verbal agreement with BLV Concrete and Landscape. I have a lot more work that I would like to have accomplished on my property in the future but will most certainly seek other service providers to accomplish it. BLV Concrete and Landscaping is definitely OFF my list.

+ -1 moreWorst contractor experience I have ever had
Description of Work: Horrible experience. He had us sign an hand written contract and bill and we paid $2000 down it took over nearly a month to have pavers installed and install of 6 bushes. After he started the job he came back with a contract that was pulled from the internet and would not start the job again until we signed. He did start again when we all agreed on changes. He resent a new contract without the changes again and would not start again until we agreed to the contract. We had less than $2000 worth of labor and work done and a tree we paid for that was never received. The day the sod was to be installed the we asked if we were still on schedule and he stated since we had not finalized the contract that he canceled the sod. WE FIRED HIM.
