Andy is a great professional, provides a very thorough document following the inspection and shows you things in person while you're there.

Steve is excellent. He was extremely thorough, and he spent a great deal of time educating us on what we need to do to maintain our new home. His detailed report listed everything he went over during the inspection, which we really appreciated as first time home buyers. In addition, his report included a prioritized list of improvements, which was very helpful when putting together our Remedy Request. Steve also had a quick turn around for the report.

I called American Inspections on a Tuesday, left them a message, and told them I needed an inspection within a week. I received a phone call that day and Steve was able to squeeze me into his schedule. He put in the radon test on Friday and to read it on Monday for our appointment. The appointment was at 4pm and he was already inside and working when I arrived on time. The appointment lasted about 2.5 hours. Steve was very thorough in every room. He explained everything he was looking for in an older home and asked me if I had questions. He was knowledgeable about the history of the houses built in the neighborhood. He gave me suggestions about improving the safety of the house when I asked. He was very nice and personable. I would definitely recommend his service to anyone.
