He did quite a bit of troubleshooting until he found and fixed the problem. Excellent service. We had a bit of mixup communicating in the first place (the reason I gave the "B" for responsiveness) but after that, everything was great!

Great service, fast response. Action was recommended to me by a coworker. Kent answered my call and called me back that night to schedule. He asked me where I worked and if I needed ample time to get home before the appointment; I said yes, about 15 minutes. Sure enough, the day of my appointment, his technician called and gave me a heads up that he was ready to head my way. I appreciate that level of service. The work only took about 20 minutes, but I was still charged for the full hour, which was pricier than I expected but not enough to sway me from a positive review. They did great work - toilet is fixed, new flex line is installed and my sanity is restored to normal :) The technician, Brian, was extremely polite, easy to work with and punctual. They all are professional, but extremely friendly. Will highly recommend to other friends when they need a plumber.

He is really good. He is not a chatter box, he just comes in and gets the work done. He has fair prices. I have two major properties he does for me. He is really prompt.

The price was cheap enough that we liked them. It was very reasonable. The guy was very up front to tell us that he would be getting time and a half to come out at a certain time. He was always able to work out. He was very friendly and informative.

Action plumbing was referred to us by someone at my husband's work. We are getting a new gas range and needed a gas line brought into our kitchen for the hookup. Kent came out within two days of when we called. He was prompt and professional. Ran a new gas line from the basement to the kitchen and explained everything well when he was finished. He also fixed an issue with our water heater while he was here, saving us another service call. He was done sooner than expected, was careful to remove shoes, was very courteous, and his prices were very fair. He answered all my questions. I would recommend Kent and Action Plumbing without hesitation.

Very bad experience, caused a lot of stress and cost me a lot of $$ to fix it right. Run Away.

The first time I called Action Plumbing was in January 2012 when I needed a valve replaced where the water pipes enter the house. Kent took a look and was unable to complete the project because I needed to have the city turn the water off. Did so, then called him back, and he came to try it again but found that the problem was actually in the service line itself and we were going to need a backhoe service. To my surprise, after coming out to the house twice, he didn't charge me at all! He said since he wasn't able to fix it, he didn't expect me to pay! I could not believe there was no service charge! I've called them since for 2 other smaller jobs, and each time Kent (the owner) was prompt, professional, unbelievably knowledgeable and efficient, and affordable. I've used several other plumbers in the area and Action Plumbing is the best by far. I highly recommend him!

He brought a helper with him and I got charged for two plumbers. I thought I would be told this before they started the work. At one point the boss left for an hour. We still got charged for two people for that hour. My son was having problems with the drain and we had him run the snake down the drain and he charged us a full $85 and he was already at my sons house doing other things, which I thought was a little unfair. I just thought he would have let me know there was another plumber with him and it was going to cost. It was 3 hours times 2 plumbers. There was no introduction or estimate of what it might cost.

I called Action Plumbing and spoke with Kent. He came out and after looking at the faucet he said he would be able to rebuild the faucet instead of replacing it. It only coast me $5 for the repair and $75 for the labor. Kent had the repair completed in less than an hour. Kent is very professional (he even removed his shoes when he entered the house) and personable.

Avoid at all costs. Try someone else.

Drain was cleaned out. Next day it was baking up again. I called and was told it must be that our septic tank is full. I had that emptied several days later and was told by that individual that shouldn't have caused the problem. I called Action plumbing again and they returned and leaned the drain out again. Now it didn't back up but the kitchen sink gurgles when the washer empties. He was made aware of that and said he wasn't sure why that was happening cause the drain is clear. While he didn't charge me for the return visit, I still have a draining problem. I'll be calling another plumber.

We requested them to come and fix it. He came and did some items, but as soon as he left it leaked again. So we called him to come back and asked since we already paid for an hour of his time and it was still leaking that the first hour we would not be charged and he said no, it was the nature of the business that it was a hit or miss and he would still charge us to come back. We called another plumber and he realized the problem and fixed it correctly, so we paid for Action Plumbing to come and fix nothing. I would not recommend them at all.
