Overall everything went very well. Most of my rooms required seams in the carpet, and so far I have not been able to notice where the seams are. I also have not noticed any issues with the carpet not staying in place or bunching (I have not yet installed my baseboards, so there is not any additional help to keep the carpet on the tack strips). Josh and his parter were very friendly to me, answered my questions, and had me inspect the work before they left to ensure everything was done to my liking. Lowe's also informed me that they have a year warranty on installation, so to call them if something does come up that needs to be fixed. Almost a week after my installation, I saw Josh at another one of my neighbors doing work for them, and did not hear anything bad from them about his work. I would gladly use Josh again and would recommend his work to others.
Description of Work: I purchased carpet and padding for my basement from Lowe's, including the $97 basic installation (plus a little extra for steps and tack strips). Josh was chosen to do the install. After he came for the measurement, 2 of my neighbors informed me that they have used him previously, and thought I would really enjoy his work. Josh's previous install ran over a little, so he called to inform me the day before that he would be about 1/2 a day late. Thankfully this was not an issue for me. Rather than being able to finish everything in one day, as it was carpeting my entire basement, he did have to come back the following morning for about 2 hours. I could see how this could be an inconvenience for some people, but big jobs like this sometimes take more time that originally believed, and for me was not a big deal.

We paid Lowe's about $6000 for new carpeting and flooring throughout our home. Josh is who was chosen by them to come and do the installation. He was very unprofessional, had a terrible attitude throughout the entire installation and was verbally abusive toward my wife. The work was shoddy and he didn't finish the project. We had to find someone else to install the quarter round trim for the laminate in our kitchen and bathroom.
Description of Work: He was a sub-contractor hired by Lowe's to install new carpet and laminate flooring in our home.
