J & B Pole Buildings

He came in gave us an estimate, and we agreed. We agreed on the start date being 30 days after the estimate (5/2011). Every time we asked when the start date, he had an excuses when he could start. The building should have been built before we before we had to get a variance. The variance was attained after August. He was rude and unprofessional, be was belittling and condescending in his words and tone. He was really bad at maintain professional contact. He would respond an occasional text message. At the end of August, I ran into him at the state fair, and he said he would start the building the next day, but he started a couple of days later. He got the framing up, then it sat for about another month. Finally he installed the steel to put the building up, and it took twice as long as it should. Now we have to get the concrete poured in the fall. The problem is what we built the building to hold organic fertilizers. We wound up losing everything by going with this builder because he took so long. My husband and him verbally agreed to a price bump of $2000, we assumed this was because the price of steel has gone up. Once the job was finished, he refused to give us a bill, and increased the overall price again. We did not agree to this, after a discussion he went back to the agreed up price. It is now one year later and we still do not have a receipt.
