Service was slow--they had my computer for over 2 weeks. The guy that worked on it --John Bonar--said my hard drive was bad and had to replace it. I found out later from another company that once a bad file was deleted, my original hard drive was fine and didn't really need replaced. Also, this guy replaced my Dell 80 gigabyte hard drive with an obsolete 2003 Hitachi 40 gigabyte "new" hard drive. When confronted, he agreed to send a refund check for the cost of the "new" hard drive only--did not agree to a refund for his time and services. It is now weeks later and I have received nothing. What a rip-off. The public should be warned!
Description of Work: My computer refused to boot up Windows--error said hard drive problem. This company said my hard drive was bad and replaced it.

Response from The Computer Boys
The Customers hard drive was bad, it failed the built in SMART self diagnostics, I told the customer I'd be putting a 40 gig drive int he computer, and recovered their files to the new drive. The drive in question was manufactured in 2003 (like nearly every new small size hard drive is at least 3-5 years old when you pull it out of the box, take a look at the new Intel Core 2 Duos, they were made in 2007 and 2008). I offered a refund to the customer of all fees minus pickup and delivery, and mailed them a check, they have yet to cash it.
