They have done a good job each time we have called them for service. They were able to do complete install if electric water heater where Ben Franklin required us to get electrician to help with install and were going to charge more than what Rabe charged for complete job.

From the beginning to the end of the process, the employees I came in contact with were professional and helpful. They were willing to answer questions I had and informative about what to expect next. I actually started by having them come to fix my furnace and while they were here I asked a question about my water heater. The person took the time to check the water heater and found the issue and Rabe’s actually fixed it that day. From there the air conditioning planning started.

Our experience wasn't so great with them. We live in the small town and they live in the next small town over and he said he will give a call when he is in our area next week and we never heard from him and we called him back and it took two or three days for him to call me back and the guy said, ‘he didn't really like to service water softener'. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Their responsiveness was okay but they dropped the ball by not calling back and when we called he said he didn't service water softeners.

We built our home four years ago and they did everything. They also visited our home once afterwards. They are helpful and knowledgeable. We have had no problems since with our air conditioning or plumbing. They use good quality products. They were prompt. They came straight away.

This is the second time I've used this company when building a new house. These guys are amazing to work with. They are extremely knowledgeable, prompt, easy to work with and do beautiful work. The plumbing lines in the basement are all tired in so cleanly I almost don't want to drywall over them. They are most known for doing geothermal install's (as a matter of fact when the Buchanan County surveyor heard they were doing my plumbing he assumed I was putting in geo, even though I'm not this time) When I got the bid from them they went over everything down to the last fixture which they actually include in all their quotes. Both times I've used them the bill didn't come in one penny over what they quoted.

Rabe Hardware is the PLACE to GO in Benton County! I had a home improvement store out to give us a quote against Rabe. The home improvement store recommended a conventional central air system and steered us away from the heat pumps. Rabe's sales guy, Matt, discouraged us from buying a conventional central unit and stressed how valuable a heat pump would be for the additional $1500 including a higher rebate from our utilities. One point he continued to stress was that the air source heat pump would not only cool our home during the summer, but also heat our home with electric heat down to 20 degrees before we need to switch to LP. Our decision was a no brainer! These guys were great. We scheduled the appointment and arranged for deferred financing through Rabe for 6 months! (allowing us to leave our money in the bank collecting interest during the deferred time) Rabe arrived on schedule with three guys ready for installation. In less that the day they had the unit installed and running. Since we were expecting our first child, after she was born in July this unit (our first AC unit in a 2 story farm house with 2500 sqft) was a LIFE SAVER! It kept our house very cool during the almost 100 degree days and was reasonable on electric costs. When the fall and winter arrived, we've been running this unit every day keeping the house at about 70 consistently. Our electric bill has only went up about $30-40 per month, saving from using COSTLY LP heat until it truly gets cold. Their service after the sale, attitude, and customer care and professionalism is almost second to none. You will never regret doing business with Rabe Hardware!
