STEAMATIC OF THE QUAD CITIES

I would not recommend this group. The first visit went okay as as far as quality goes, but was understaffed with only 1 person. As a result he moved furniture only when it was specifically pointed out, and in general the person didn't go out of his way to do top-notch work. In order to have a thorough job done, I needed to follow him around and ask for "extra work" as he went. The second group was worse. They didn't arrive as scheduled, and indicated they were having engine trouble when we called to find out where they were. When they did arrive they had two people, but one said he had just had back surgery and was uncomfortable enough that the job suffered as a result. The truck vacuum system kept stopping, and the workmen said they needed to "tweak" the system. After they left, I walked through rooms and found the rugs extremely wet - so much so that even after 8-10 hours of running the air condiitoner and dehumidifiers, the rugs were still very wet to the touch. And despite my request to treat for carpet stains, I found stains throughout the downstairs rooms. These same stains came up when I spot treated them and cleaned them with my own small carpet machine. In general, the guys tried to be nice, and they were good to my cats, but this was not worrth the money.
