 + 0 moreThe guy who showed up told me and quot;my job is to break your homeand quot; so I told him to go for it. He was very knowledgable and thorough and explained what he found as he went along. The printed report I got was just as thorough and very well put together and was very easy to understand. Once I moved in I found some things I thought he should have caught and I thought they were pretty big items but no one is perfect. I would use them again.
Description of Work: Inspected a home I was looking to purchase, it was a foreclosure so I was worried there would be major problems.

 + 0 moreI arrived at the home 30 minutes early and he was already there. He told me exactly what he does and all the major systems in the home will be inspected from top to bottom and explained it so I could comprehend it. We then began on the outside and he explained everything as he went over it and suggested ways of fixing the problems and offered references if I needed them. We got to the inside and again he showed me things he looks for, the condition of my situation and ways to fix it or things that should be monitored. He addressed areas I had questions about and I felt very comfortable with his answers and explanations. I would highly recommend this company for your home inspection.
Description of Work: I am 48 yrs old and am just now buying my first house. I work on computers and I am considered constructionally challenged. I like DIY jobs but wanted to know exactly what I was walking into in this home that was built in 1949 and since it was a foreclosure I was getting there is no disclosure for the home. I was told NPI was a good reliable company and would do a thorough job and let me know what I'm dealing with. So I gave them a call...
