Description of Work: Long story short. Bob Marlow came. He gave me a bid for a total bathroom remodel. He started the job. Demo went well. Then he had his young sons do a majority of the work. Nothing done in the right order. He started the electrical, then he did the floor then he did the ceiling and then he placed the tiles on the floor without grouting it which caused the tiles to move. The tiles had to be replaced because they were not set in. He had his sons start all of this without finishing not one single project. My wife confronted Bob Marlow and basically told him that the order and workmanship was not satisfactory. Bob got offended and left the job. The truth is we had several bids afterwards and every single contractor that came through said the same thing. The workmanship was terrible. If you need a big job done well, go elsewhere. He was also disrespectful toward my wife as she comfronted three grown men in the house alone. Ladies don't call unless you husband is present. Better yet, don't call period. My deepest regret was letting my wife confront him while I was at work. I just didn't think he would have reacted so badly. The bathroom turned out beautifully by another contractor and he was awesome. The fact that Bob Marlow quit in the middle of the job was a God send. GO ELSEWHERE!!!!

Description of Work: M&M did our master bathroom and portions of our kitchen. They installed the new cabinets; microwave; dishwasher; reinstalled some of the baseboards and put on crown molding on cabinets and put in a gas shut off valve in the kitchen. In the bathroom they installed a new shower and base; shower door; cabinet and mirror. They also planed a door to our bedroom which wouldn't close after the new carpet was installed. M&M did decent* quality work but maintained sporadic work hours. We often didn't know when they would arrive and sometimes they left after only a short time. We had to have them stop to have the floors installed and painting done and when we asked them to return you could tell we were no longer a priority job for them. *They didn't do very well on the cabinet crown molding.

Description of Work: He did not even know the city codes. He put in our footings at 24" and had to tear them out and replace them with 42" footings and tried to charge us for his mistakes. He was charging us for everything he did wrong and laughed at us when we said we weren't paying for his mistakes, he said somebody had to. NEVER would I ever recommend this man to anyone.

Description of Work: Recall repair on two items. Only minor problem was that they could only do one repair the first time and had to order a part for the other problem. They forgot to tell me that another visit was necessary when I picked up my car that first time. I found out a week later about the second visit when they called me to schedule it. They picked my car up from my office and took care of everything.

Description of Work: Framed out basement. Professional, Timely and Cost-Efficient. Highly Recommend.

Description of Work: Repaired water damaged wallboard. He made sure that any mold or mildew were GONE! Did exactly what I asked and cleaned up beautifully. Fast, quality work.

Description of Work: Bob from M & M Service remodeled a half bath for us. He repaired the floor that had water damage, installed tile, put in new toliet and sink to complete the bath. He did a wonderful job and was very punctual each day.

Description of Work: Removed several layers of old tile flooring in the Kitchen and dining room, leveled subfloor and installed all new ceramic tile and grouting. There was a lot of floor preparation involved!

Description of Work: I had a lot of little projects that needed done: replacing a couple of rotting boards on the deck, replacing and painting some rotting outdoor trim, installing cat doors, regrouting two showers, and putting some joint filler stuff around the cement in the garage.

Description of Work: Bob spent about three weeks at my house remodeling my bathroom. He replaced the entire shower and tub unit, including the plumbing, installed new drywall, new mirror, new sink cabinet and faucet, toilet and also put ceramic tile on the floor. It was a very traditional 70's bathroom and is now a very modern, formal-looking (and easy to clean!) bathroom. He is punctual and easy to work with, his pricing is very reasonable compared to other estimates I received, and his schedule worked around mine. He's also a perfectionist and doesn't like sloppy work. I like that!
