Green Valley Roofing Siding Windows

Had Dennis the estimator come to the house and measure square footage and degrees of slope then sat down and went over the workflow and materials included. Very thorough. Put the contract together and they got back to me about a week later. That's when Greg stopped by to walk the roof and preview the job and set a starting date which was another week out. Dumpster arrived on a Friday and unfortunately the work scheduled for Monday was delayed due to weather until Tuesday. So we had the eye sore of a dumpster in our driveway for 4 days before the actual work started. Nobody's fault, just unfortunate. Shingles and materials arrived on Monday and the lift truck they used to lift the shingles on our roof tore up a few small patches of grass in our lawn. They told us they would get us new patches of sod to repair the spots. They did so and everything is fine. This was the shingle delivery company, an Independent Contractor not Green River directly. Chris and his crew showed up to begin work on Tuesday morning. Chris was great to work with. He answered any questions we had and made sure we were satisfied with the job. NOTE: Chris and his crew are Independent contractors, not employees of River Valley so you need to know this in case any issues pop up that Chris cannot address. In our case that would have been Greg. What was estimated to be a 3 to 4 day job took a week thanks to a couple of rain days. These guys are pros and you need that level of work because your home becomes a war zone during the process. They clean up after work each day but look out for stray nails here and there.

Green Valley replaced a roof on my previous house several years ago and I was very impressed then with their workmanship and every employee with whom I interacted. They were very easy to work with and their pricing was reasonable and less than other bidders. I recommended them to friends and co-workers over the years. Recently, when the flashing around my chimney was causing leaking into my house, I called Green Valley. They explained what the issue was and how they could fix it. They were careful about how it would look with the style of my house. They also repaired the damage inside from the leak. It all turned out great and when they were done, they cleaned up everything so well you'd never guess they had even worked here. I highly recommend Green Valley and will continue to call them first!

When the second gentlemen came over, he could not verify that the leak was coming from the roof, he got up in my attic to double check and still nothing. He stated that he would not feel comfortable doing the work because based on his inspection there was no leak through the roof. He recommended to keep an eye when it rains because the leak could possibly be from coming from the sky light itself. No work was performed but I felt comfortable with their explanations and professionalism.

Workers were on time, very professional and cleaned up daily. The job was quoted as a 3 day project and was performed in that timeline.

They came as scheduled and kept the work site clean. All work was checked by the company after completion.

Green Valley completed the work on time. Final cost was the same as the estimated cost. They cleaned up after themselves every evening and on completion of the job. They were on time every day, polite and professional. They roofed our house and shed. The shed roof had always had problems correctly shedding water. When they started work on it, the Green Valley roofer noticed the design flaw that was causing the problem and corrected it without incurring extra cost. We've had the roofs for almost five years now -- they still look great with no leaks or other problems. Very pleased with the workmanship and quality of the materials they used (asphalt architectural-style shingles with a limited lifetime warranty). We got 3 bids on the job -- Green Valley's estimate was the middle of the three on price. Highly recommend.

They were good. I caught an error at the beginning and they had the wrong color trim. I told them that it was not what we had ordered. They checked their order and found out that he was wrong. I thought that they were pretty reasonable.

The first message I left with Green Valley requesting information was returned promptly and Kevin came to my house to give me an estimate for a new roof, skylight and windows. I decided not to get additional estimates based on the Angie's list reviews and a recommendation from my son on work he had done. The roof and skylight have been completed and I am very pleased with the results. Unfortunately, the communication from Green Valley was often a struggle. I look forward to having the windows replaced and hope to have a totally positive review

The estimate and final cost was the same. No extra costs. Work crew was on time every morning. Worked full days. Cleaned up the worksite every night. Work was done on time inspite of some bad weather. The company's owner came out the next day and got on the roof to check out the entire area. And did a walk-about with us also before finalizing the job. We purchased the 50 yr.shingles. Labor and materials guaranteed. We told them we had researched several companies on Angie's List and had concluded Green Valley was the best fit for us. They were pleased that their decision to join Angie's List was a good one. I was very pleased with the work and the professionalism. I was especially impressed with the salesman's professionalism, patience, and attention to the clients preferences and making sure the customer was completely satisfied with the job. I needed more time before they could start and they were very accommodating to my schedule and needs. I was very impressed at how fast the job went and how they cleaned up all the debris. When I was dissatisfied with the color of the drip edge they even repainted it!

No problems or issues, crew was very professional, cleaned up well. I would use this company again and would recommend to relatives and friends. Good experience.

THIS WAS A REALLY BAD WINTER! GREEN VALLEY NOT ONLY WORKED AROUND THE WEATHER THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL THRU IT ALL. EVERYDAY WE THOUGHT THEY SHOULD BE HERE BETWEEN THE SNOWFALL, THEY SHOWED UP! THEY EVEN CAME ONE DAY AND SALTED THE ROOF SO THE ICE WOULD MELT SO THEY COULD WORK THE NEXT DAY. THEY CLEANED UP EACH DAY AND AT THE END, IT WAS AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!! I RECOMMEND YOU CALL THEM IF YOU WANT A JOB DONE ABOVE AND BEYOND YOUR EXPECTATIONS

These guys worked on our very steep church roof. The church is also close quarters to houses, it is in a residential neighborhood, but they didn't hit any neighbors house or property. The sales guy and the owner of the company worked with my husband (The Pastor of the church) and they did what they said they were going to do...and a little more.

We had new windows put in on the main floor of our house. (We did our own windows upstairs and had someone help us, but some don't open and close real good and some are hard to lock.) The window installers that were in our home and on our property were clean, friendly and liked talking to my husband that is a Pastor. Even though it held him up at times the installer didn't mind at all. I was surprised with the old windows in our 100 yr old house and the work it took to get them out and install the new ones, but the clean up was amazing, it was like they were never even here. They even asked if we would like for them to put back up our curtains, we did so they did. The salesman that first came was nice, (he was the guy my husband worked with at our church when we had roof work done) explained the difference between the types of windows out there and gave us options to pick what fit us best, and we did, he made us feel like we were in good hands so we signed up with him and he was our first company we met with about windows. We did meet with another company the next day and didn't tell the Green Valley salesman, but we stayed with Green Valley because he was pushy, his pricing was inline and others we told confirmed that it was a more than fair price for the good windows we had put in. People at our church have used them as well and I am sure we will use them again in the future.

I started by getting four different bids from four local contractors. The sales guy from Green Valley really took the time to get to know what me and my family were looking for before he even gave the bid. This showed me that he loved what he did and actually liked and wanted to help me. Some seemed to push what they wanted on me and didn't ask questions to find out what I was looking for. He pointed out work that needed to be done on my chimney, that was missed by others. My dog was jumping on him and he didn't mind, he actually called the dog to sit on his lap and my dog did and he doesn't like many people, but he jumped up and sat there for a while. Green Valley's pricing was the third most, investment wise, but I had a positive feeling initially (I also checked the Better Business Bureau and looked at their website) and when the workers were here I quickly realized it was money well spent. The installers were professional, courteous and the clean up was way better than I expected. We even made them lunch one day because we were so happy. Also, they thought it might take 3 days and they were done in 2. It was "No Money Down", which gave me confidence, so after the quality control was done by their employed Production Manager a time was set up for my and my family to meet with the sales guy to look everything over again and collect payment. I was very pleased, I have recommend multiple times already and I am looking forward to having them install energy efficient windows in the future.

Indicated my roof needed repairs that were not necessary. Wanted double what other roofing contractors wanted.

Overall the experience has been less then pleasurable. The first crew that was out to install the windows at my house were great. Jennifer and her crew laid plastic down, cleaned up after the installers, polished the glass in the windows, etc. Apparently, the bow window posed some problems for the first crew. So the gentleman who just measured the windows, had to come out and install them, on a different day from the first group of installer, I wished he hadn't. I wasn't home when they installed the casement windows, and that is my fault. But for this amount of money you would expect a quality job. The window was difficult to install, and posed problems for the installer. I wasn't informed of this till after the sub par work had been done. The trim that went around the casement windows is of poor quality, there are actual knots in the 1x4 material they used that is exposed and can be seen in plain view. The quarter round trim that surounds the windows, and covers the edges of the 1x4 fit very poorly. Gaps in the miter cuts are in some places almost 1/8 inch wide. Yes, these will get chaulked, but it shows this was a sloppy and rushed job. Then the mess. It was a damp and slightly raining that day. There was mud, dirt, leafs, shoe prints, wood dust, and other debris left inside my home. The front stoop was covered with mud also. The door thresh hold had mud and leafs in it too. On the outside of the house there was broken glass, not small pieces either. Some that were almost 2-3 inches long. Nails to attach the flashing were scattered all over. The aluminum flashing chunks they had cut to fit the window were all over. Old screws, the handle to lock the old casement window, chunks of wood, and other bits of material were all over. I can understand it isn't going to be spotless and there will be stuff in the yard, but a complete disregard to even attempt to pick is unacceptable. I informed Kevin of the condition of my house. He agreed that it was unacceptable, and would make the situation right. Well, so far that hasn't happened either. All Kevin has done so far is make excuses for the work that was done, after he didn't follow up with a return phone call and visit to my house like he said he was going to. He offered to discount what the trim cost would be in the house. With the mess that was left he offered to come out and clean my property, but said there wasn't anything else he could do because my fiancé and I had already cleaned it up and if I wanted it clean I should have called him sooner to had him do so. At this time I'm still waiting to get my replacement screen that was damaged before the install and waiting on the crank handle for the other casement window. We will see if old age sets in before that gets done. I can't recommend Green Valley to anyone looking for new windows. This was a poor experience and I hope no one else will go through what I have.

Kevin came out after his office scheduled an appointment. He was very professional and gave us a reasonable bid. He said he would meet us after the job was done and go over any concerns we had. It was a few weeks before they started on the roof because they were backed up due to the bad wind storm we had in June, but Kevin had told us that it would be a few weeks so we weren't concerned. It took them a couple of days to finish the job and they did a great job. we met Kevin at the house (rental house) a few days later and walked around the house. We had no concerns and would definitely recommend Green Valley Roofing. Several companies we called didn't even return our call; this company was great!

They were awesome and do not have one complaint at all! If anybody needs any roofing or siding done on their home I strongly recommend giving them a call.

It went very well and they did an excellent job in a short time (3 or 4 days). Two guys worked well together; were very nice, and cleaned up when they got done. I would highly recommend them. Very professional job.
