Very well overall. We did have some damage, though, including a desk lamp that had been forced by a packer into a box that it did not fit, even though there was an obvious mechanism on the lamp to allow it to fold.

Fast, Responsive and Hard Working. Would definitely recommend them.

Excellent !! A crew of 4 came and they were well trained and professional. My house has 4 bedrooms, living, dining, office, hearth room, basement, exercise room (treadmill, elliptical, weights). They were only contracted to move what is packed in a box and furniture but they were willing to gather as much as possible, loose items. Took care to lay down tarp to avoid damaging wood floor. Although my move was less than a mile, they disassembled and wrapped all wood furniture in blanket and saran wrap to ensure protection. They moved furnitures from upstairs and basement to the new home which had a second floor and basement as well. I was not prepared to move unboxed items out of the garage(needed sorting) but they were able to gather them and put them in extra large containers and left them with me in the new house until I get the chance to put things away (they will come back to get the extra large boxes). This will help save me a lot of time. They took any wrapping material away and stacked boxes safely in the proper rooms as instructed. They even moved 2 fridge and 3 exercise equipment (treadmill, elliptical, weights - I had to partially disassemble them per the contract liability... I'm ok with) from the basement. They clearly were ready to go beyond (when possible) to help me take care of special moving needs when we ask and sometimes receive advice and proactive suggestions on where they can help. Considering the amount of furniture, size, weight and the difficulty of navigating up and down stairs, this is money very well spent. One of my best experience with a moving company.

They were fine. They were good. They were good overall.

Argo is a family owned business and customer service is excellent. The owner, Dan Fah, was a manager with UPS for 35 years, and he runs his company with a focus on quality. Talk about customer service and your impressions of the staff. They followed through on two special requests. I contacted them a few times before the move, and when the shipment was on the road and my questions were answered thoroughly. Dan, and a key staff member, Jeff, paid attention to detail, especially packing a family heirloom crystal chandelier.? Argo was punctual in arrival, packing and scheduling the arrival time in Phoenix. No one in my family had to wait around, because the movers were on time for all appointments including the estimate, moving day, and delivery. Argo Movers got the job done in a most satisfactory manner. We will use them again after my Dad sells his house. I recommend them to Angies List members or to a friend. The cost was fair, and I compared to two companies.

It was great - I'll use movers from now on since it was so easy and stress-free. The coordinator and I had previously set up a time for the movers to come (afternoon) and he called me that day just to confirm. He asked how much stuff I had so that they knew what size truck to bring and even offered to box everything up for me (for an extra cost). One of the movers called me about an hour and a half before they were scheduled to come move me asking if it was okay if they came by early. It was, and they were polite and very quick and efficient. They asked where I wanted everything to go and helped me move furniture around in my new place so I wouldn't have to do it by myself. Really a good experience.

They did a really good job. They had excellent service. They were very accommodating. We lost part of our clock, but they found it and shipped it to us right away. I would use them again. They were here right on the date they said and right on time, unloaded everything in one day.

Multiple large plastic containers, several antique chairs and tables, and large cabinets were hauled. All furniture was wrapped and taped. All items were either lifted or moved with a dolly. Nothing was slid.

I'm not sure I'm reviewing the right company. The Argo moving I used was located in Bettendorf on State Street. It went very well. The men were all good-natured and pleasant, willing to work. They worked diligently and finished in half the time they first estimated. They took special care with some valuable heirloom pictures as requested. We didn't have rope to tie down the boxes, etc., in the truck, so Mike, the guy in charge let us have some of his. I hope next time they remind their customer things like that, because we didn't think about it. We would have ordered blankets from the UHaul rental and ropes or tie downs had we thought about it. They packed the truck well as it had to travel across country. We'll be unpacking tomorrow morning, so we will see how well the ropes held. I found this company on Angie's list and I believe they deserve to be there.

Went well, Dan kept us updated at all steps; movers were very courteous and polite, everything arrived in great shape!

They are fantastic. They are the most outstanding group of people I've seen. They also have a U-Haul service because a lot of boxes they used were from U-Haul. Nothing but praise. They are the fastest, best, careful movers I've ever seen. The price goes on the quantity so it is an individualized thing. It was a very upsetting and stressful time. Anytime you have to pack up a home and move to another state it is such a challenge. They were very comforting. 5 guys came. They were so fast. All you had to do was tell them how you wanted it. We walked around the house and I told them what I wanted and they just did it. They just jumped. They knew that all of it had to fit in there. They packed it and stacked it unbelievably well. They were just real good movers. They are fast and yet careful. I am very, very pleased. It sure helped because before they walked in I was a basketcase. Their responsiveness was outstanding. I contacted them on Tuesday. I flew to that state and arrived on Wednesday. They were there Thursday morning at 7 AM.

I found this company through an online search engine and gave them a try due to high customer reviews. I was not disappointed. They were so very professional in giving me a quote, following up before the move, and during the move. They moved my daughters belongings to her apartment in downtown Chicago and it was such a flawless experience. They picked up the load the day before the actual move, so they were ready to go the next morning very early. The movers were very friendly and helpful in giving us information regarding the exact details of the move and how it would play out. I would definitely recommend his company to anyone!

All workers (Bobby, Mike and MIke) were excellent workers, courteous and efficient. There was no damage to my items or walls in either home. Scheduling and upfront contact was also very service oriented and prompt. Jason was quick with returning emails and providing a quote. Definitely recommend Argo.

Called for an estimate to move from the Quad City area to Northwest Indiana. They came out and gave an estimate (very reasonable). On moving day they moved very quickly yet were very careful with everything. They wrapped all of the furniture in moving blankets and then shrink-wrapped over the blankets. Everything arrived in Indiana in great condition. The three young men that did the move were very polite and very efficient. Would DEFINITELY use this company again! Highly satisfied.

I thought that the three guys who moved us did an amazing job. It was a horribly hot day but they were very quick. They did not take long breaks. Even when I encouraged them to stop and sit down, they declined and said that they were almost done. They were very professional, and they knew exactly what they were doing. They took amazingly good care of all the stuff that we had them move. So, I was very impressed, and I don't really have anything that I disliked about them. I was impressed with them overall.

They were really flexible with their schedule while working with me. I used their services at the last minute with a short notice period. I would use them again in the future.

I was very pleased and would recommend them to anyone who wants a moving company that is fast yet careful and efficient. They wrapped all my belongings that needed wrapped for safety purposes. It was a hot temp day and i never heard them complain one time and i had alot of steps and turned the AC off as the doors were open the whole morning. They packed the truck very well as nothing shifted during the local move.

Fast, only 3 hours provided the truck. I helped move things and had things pretty much prepped. Was a good price and a good decision to use them.
