My 2011 experience with Brymons Home Furnishing still upsets me. I took advantage of free decorator service with a minimum purchase amount. End result was poor quality furniture that didn't fit the room as agreed upon. When the corner electric fireplace wouldn't fit the corner by the window, the decorator thought we could just detach some of the new vertical blind slats & cover up part of the window. I still can't believe a decorator actually said that! The fabric on the new sofa still waves after Brymons finally had the movers that I paid extra to assist out a tear in back of the sofa, put scratches on the stairway post & the entry door glass solar film. I understand that accisents can happen, but Brymons response was, "that's the cost of doing business" & didn't plan to correct. I'm betting they wouldn't say that if I did the same in their store. After much complaining, Brymons finally had someone come mend the sofa tear, now I have an obvious "L" shaped scar. The living room before was much more functional than now. I'm sad my experience Brymon's turned out this way as I believe in supporting small business. I also believe in customer satisfaction. I will never do business again with Brymon's, nor will I ever recommend it to others. I'm not naming the decorator, as the Brymons owner didn't stand behind the store either. Brymon's were smart not to allow customer comments on their website, thus my Angie's List opinion of them. M. Henry. Council Bluffs, Ia.

We had to pay for the mattress on the day we placed the order, they came out and delivered it about 4 days later. We slept on that mattress for 24 days/nights and told them we were dissatisfied. They then brought us another mattress on the 30th day and it was worse than the first. We had moved into an assisted living facility and that is why we bought the mattress, we know of several others that have purchased from them and are unhappy. We tried to get them to come out and measure the mattress as they provide replacement if the depth is less than 1.5 inches. During that time, we were moved to another room and the mattress was turned end for end. They did come out to measure and said it was more than 1.5 inches deep. On the 221st day, we returned the mattress to them. I later received a letter from the company claiming that I had lied about having permission to bring it to them. Our credit card payment to them is currently in dispute as they did not follow their service guarantee and we were dissatisfied. When they exchanged the mattress the first time, we were told that they would be happy to help us with any future problems. We told them at that time if this second mattress does not work out we won't want another one but would want a refund. During the 221 days we had tried to get them to come out and measure again, but they never did. I had made dozens and dozens of calls to them and was told that I needed to speak to Jennifer, the owner, but we were only able to speak with her once. She told us that a refund was not an option. They said that they did not need to measure because they were going to give us another mattress, but we said we do not want another mattress just our money back. They are unwilling to provide any refunds. The help was very nice.
