I took 2 weeks for them to get the part even though I could find it online in stock at a much lower price. However, when the aerviceman came, he was friendly, knowledgable and completed the repai quickly.

My Maytag dryer developed a squeak, becoming worse with time. We determined (through the internet) that probably the rollers needed to be replaced. A repair person from Ware's Appliance came within 90 minutes of my call, diagnosed it easily and fixed it promptly. We had him replace both rollers although only one seemed to be problematic, since the dryer was 10-15 years old. My only suggestion to the company would be to remove the grease/dirt marks from the inside of the drum when finishing. We were able to clean it off with Chlorox wipes but I'm glad I saw them before putting in my first load of clean clothes.

Within a week the line had frozen again, even though we had taken the steps recommended (raising temp in the refrigerator). Called and left a message at Ware's, once, twice, three, then four times. No response from any of these calls. A few weeks later I had time to stop at the store. The man behind the counter initially said they had not rec'd my calls. Then remembered the calls and said they were unable to reach me. No one else has had an issue reaching me. I explained information I had found on the internet and asked if they would come look at it again & order this part. His response was that the internet information was wrong and he did not carry the part needed (some type of shield). He was very rude and abrupt. At that point I left without trying to reschedule. In the end, Ware's did not permanently fix the problem. Did not respond to follow-up calls and the person in the store was rude. Personally, I have no time for this type of business.
Description of Work: In honesty, I do not recall the exact dates. It has been some time since this occurred. We have had a problem with the water line on my refrigerator freezing since first purchased. Ware's first visit was successful. The repair took some time, but when the repairman (Mike, I believe) left everything worked. He told me if the problem recurred to call and he would return.

Called on a Tuesday morning due to our dryer not functioning properly. It would not create enough heat to dry clothes. Ware Appliance was able to set up a time on the same day we called. The repairman showed up in a timely manner, identified the problem and fixed it in less than 45 minutes.

There was a communivcation error in the begining. The person I talked to on the phone scheduled me for 9/11 at noon and gave me a 2 hour window. I called earlier in the day to confirm my appointment. The service guy did not come in this time frame. I called and was informed that it would be sometime this afternoon. I rescheduled for the next day. the service guy Mike was promptly at my door at 9 am. He was polite and professional. He looked at my stove and determined it to be a bad valve. I opted not for this to be serviced. He then looked at my washing machine and said I needed a lid switch. He did not have the part on his truck and went back to the shop. Service guy John returned 20 minutes later with the part and installed it. John was very polite and he did a great job. I feel that this company was good and provided a great service. I will be calling again for future appliance needs.

We have a constrained space for our fridge, and my husband talked with the Ed Ware people extensively on the phone before Mike came over. They were knowledgeable and helpful.
Description of Work: Our 20+ year old refrigerator had stopped cooling. We had another repairman look at it. He poked at it and told us to get a new one since the repair would cost at least $800. Mike of Ed Ware Appliances came out the next day and fixed it for less than $200.

The initial visit to diagnose the problem with my washing machine went ok. Mike, the repairman, was on time, he spent approx 30 seconds looking over my washing machine, said he needed to order a part, and would have to come back another time. Since I am a working mother, I asked if we could schedule the return visit before he left, and we agreed on a date and time. I asked before he left if I needed to call the store to tell them and he said no, that it was all set. The morning of the return visit he was supposed to be at my house at 9:00, by 9:45 he wasn't here and had not called. I called the store and talked to the owner who rudely told me that Mike was finishing up on projects that he did not finish the week before and "he would get there when he gets there." I asked why I had not been called to be told that he would be late, and got no response back except a repeat of the previous. I asked for an estimate of when he would get here, and said that I had other appointments that day, and was told that he would call before he came. Since all Mike had was my home number, I was stuck waiting around at home. 2 hours later when no call and no Mike, I called back again. This time a woman answered the phone. I asked again if she knew when Mike would be here, and she said no. By this time I was irritated, and so I asked for the part number of the part that was to be replaced so that I could make an appointment somewhere else, but could skip the first step. She said she did not have that information, and asked if I would like to talk to Mike on the cell. She gave me a wrong number. So I called back, and got the owner again. This time he was extremely rude, called me "missy" several times, raised his voice to me several times, and said there was no way in hell he was giving me the part number if I wasn't going to let him do the work and get paid for it. By this time I was exhausted with dealing with them, so I hung up. 2 hours later, Mike calls and asks why I thought I had an appointment that day. When I reminded him that we set up the return visit before he left, he remembered, but then said that the part had not come in until just a few minutes ago and wanted to schedule a return visit. I told him about the rude behavior I had received and told him I wanted nothing more to do with his company. He then told me that the shipping company had charged them an additional $50 to deliver the part, and that he would be charging that to me. I told him that there was no way I would be paying that after the way that I had been treated and ended the conversation.
Description of Work: They came out for an initial estimate of repair, and then were to return for a service call for my washing machine.
