"Thank you for choosing Premier, we greatly appreciate your business!"
"Thank you for your continual interest in Premier, we greatly appreciate your business!"
"For as long as we've been in business, a bathroom remodel has never taken us eight months from start to finish. Whether the project is small or is a multi-million dollar project, we do it right and in record time. The deal with remodeling projects is that it is often on the customers time. The only time a project takes remotely any time what so ever is due to things out of our control. Some times customers decide to frame up walls themselves. Some work at their own pace. We encourage customers to get their hands dirty and are more than welcome to the idea of them being part of their project, especially if their skilled in a trade or have passion. With us, we give our customers the flexibility to do as much or as little as they're willing to do. We encourage our customers to do what they know how to do and often guide them in the right direction if they feel they want to push their so called limits/experience on a project. We want the customer to feel comfortable and confident about the process. In the end we want the customer to be happy with the end result. We use subcontractors who are all bonded, insured and licensed in the trades that they work in. While we can do a project from start to finish, we leave the drywall and tiling to the experts that do it day in and day out. Most companies we deal with have been in business for decades and there's a reason for that. The drywall company is a multi-generation company that we have used. We have never heard anything negative about them. Throughout this entire project, we heard absolutely zero issues about them from the customer. We have pictures of everything and we're always willing to address any issues that you may have. None of the work that was done had to be redone. There was a minor issue with the tile, which was addressed. Finished off with a tile transition piece. After the tile installation the customer wasn't 100% satisfied with the results. While this isn't solely on us, the tile company was more than willing to come back to take a look at it and go over any concerns that she had. Throughout the project the customer has been unresponsive, especially towards the end. Multiple employees from our company as well as the tile company have made an exhausting amount of attempts to get a hold of the customer without response. Phone calls have been made with voicemails left as well as plenty of emails without response. When the customer finally responded, she claims we never communicated with her. Yet, we have a call trail from our company as well as communication history from our tile company on what days and times they made an attempt to schedule to come take a look at the issue she had. Her response was, "...he knows where we live..." So in the customers opinion, we're suppose to not call or email her but just show up unannounced. We schedule everything and if we cannot get a hold of you then there's no way to know when you're ready or available. We have crews that strictly do plumbing remodels day in and day out. We care about every single customer and even though our schedules get filled up quickly, we always make it work and would of squeezed you in for a time that worked for you. I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion you did after how everything concluded. We strive for satisfaction and we've been in communication throughout. We buttoned up on the issue that you had. Price has never changed and has been the same before the project started as displayed on the contract."
"Thank you for your repeat business and for taking the time to review. We appreciate it!"
"Thank you very much for your business!"
I read in an earlier review that this company was not up front with some of their cost estimates. In my experience this could not be farther from the truth. They explained the cost estimates from the first time I talked to them on the phone until the final bill was completed.
Premier Plumbing did a very nice job for me and I will not hesitate to call them again when I need plumbing work.
"Thank you very much for your business and your kind review! Customer initially contacted us via the message system on Angieslist. We followed up promptly informing him that one of our service dispatchers (name of who was going to be calling was provided) to call him directly to go over in detail what he wanted done as well as answer some of the questions that he had at that time. After that the dispatcher would pencil in a time that worked most convenient with the homeowner. As it has been mentioned here as well as in the past, we will always answer any questions a customer has before, during and after service has taken place. When a customer calls initially we will always go over details with the customer which are not limited to: what to expect, our rates/policies, ask and answer questions, and so fourth. We want the customer to feel comfortable throughout the entire process. We're happy to hear that you were satisfied with the entire process. Thank you so much for your business! It is greatly appreciated!"

"[Member name], We hope the pump is working out great for you. Thank you for your business!"
"There's nothing worse then jumping in the shower and all of the sudden it turns ice cold. We're happy to know we could get you taken care of. No more cold showers for you! Thank you for your business!"
Trip charge $45.00
Labor $67.50
additional 6% on total $7.83
Tax $8.30
After the repair was done, I phoned the company to inquire about the cost and was told "if they drive, say, from West Des Moines they have to have" a trip charge, so I suppose they add it no matter what. Funny, the company is in Ankeny where I live, but maybe their residence is elsewhere? When he asked my name, and I told him, he said "oh you are one who has called before" and I said I would never need to call again. I had a huge problem with this company and a remodel project earlier on where the work they did had to be torn out and redone. At that time I involved the BBB and left a C review on Angie"s List. Also at that time I received a call from the Premier Plumbing boss threatening me if I did not remove the review, and he told me he did not like the fact people could review his company. Since I lived a few blocks from PP, I felt very uncomfortable and did remove the review. I gave them a second chance, and his time the current review will not be removed by me.

"Thank you for your kind review and for your business. It's greatly appreciated!"
"It's never a great feeling when you have straight cold water. Chilly! We're happy to know we were able to get the repairs needed to take advantage of that hot water too! Thank you!"
"[Member name removed] Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that the problem couldn't be addressed on the first go around. With anything, the technician will always do a full test to diagnose the issue and also test again once the repair(s) have been made. With leaks, the second we walk out the door anything can happen. Putting into perspective, it's like your vehicle and the wear and tear that eventually will need fixed. Sometimes you have an annoying issue and then the second you take it in to your repair shop the same issue couldn't be replicated to properly diagnose. Then it seems the second you drive off the lot or soon after that annoying issue comes back. Except here, we did find the leak and made the proper repairs that were found at the time. Having someone prior to us doing any service wrenching on the faucet means inferior products could have possibly been used which could have caused other issues down the line. While rare, there's also the possibility that brand new parts become faulty as well. Most brands at one point or time do run into some faucets or other related plumbing products that they do have issues with and the manufacturer supersedes into an updated product that fixes on-going and well known issues associated with them. Our technicians are trained to pinpoint leaks and to make only repairs that deem necessary. It seems this was the case here. While our main objective is to fix the issue completely we're also trying to get the job done, be fair and be reasonable on pricing. The older the faucet, especially discontinued products, the harder it is to get parts for them. While we will fix anything, sometimes it's more reasonable to replace the entire faucet. We will often first ensure we can get all parts to repair the faucet and if the replacement parts aren't available due to them being discontinued then there's really only one option. We will always leave the decision up to the homeowner. We fully understand that many thoroughly enjoy the older products and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that! Sometimes there are replacement faucets that will look relatively similar, but again it depends on the product, age, demand, style/design trends, etc. to begin with. We also understand that most want all of their faucets to match (jack and jill bathroom or multiple bathrooms) and that's definitely a valid point and understandable, especially in the aesthetic department. We also understand that often those faucets are ones that you do enjoy and there's certainly no problem with that what so ever. As stated, we want to be fair to the customer and that's a reason why we ate the labor on the follow-up trips as the job should have been done on the first trip and unfortunately that wasn't the case here. While it doesn't happen often, leaks can sneak up on you. What's most important to Premier Plumbing is that you we're happy that the faucet was completely repaired and that you were happy with the work performed. As stated, we will do what needs to be done to make it right. Thank you for your business, we greatly appreciate it!"
"[member name removed], Thank you for your business! Premier Plumbing is family owned and we try to pass that on to our customers. We think of our customers as apart of the team. It makes us happy to know we're doing the best we possibly can and that the service was completed to your satisfaction. We have a group of great people who take pride in what they do. It is also apart of what we do to ensure that all questions are answered before, during and after. We want to leave the customer in good hands. Meaning that knowledge is gained about any products or services provided to prolong the life of the products. Thanks again for your business!"
"[Member Name Removed], Thank you for your business and your review!"
"[Member name removed] Thank you for taking the time to write a review. The criticism is also greatly appreciated. Year after year Premier Plumbing has been growing and along the way there have been some growing pains associated with it. Years ago we've added more technicians as well as more personnel in the office to dedicate just to service. We strive to improve all the time and this is definitely one of the areas that we have improved on. With service the customer is called when the technician is on the way and if the tech runs into an issue beforehand (it does happen occasionally) the customer is called to ensure moving the time will work with their schedule and adjust accordingly. In short, communication has definitely improved and I believe comparing how scheduling was years ago to now is a night and day difference. Thank you for choosing Premier Plumbing, we appreciate your business!"
"[Member name], Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We understand you took time out of your way to do so and it's greatly appreciated. Rain is never good, especially when you're sump pump isn't working at optimal performance. We're glad to hear that Premier Plumbing was able to turn your day around and get you back out of deep water. Thank you for your criticism on scheduling as well. During this time and currently we are going through growing pains year after year. We're happy to say that we do now have a service department dedicated to scheduling and a group of great technicians ready to tackle anything you throw at them. Scheduling has been great but we have and are always looking at ways at improving what we do. We're able to focus and drill down on scheduling more than ever and if a tech is running behind (it does happen from time to time), we like to provide the customer with updates and also call when the technician is on the way. Thanks again for choosing Premier Plumbing. Your business is greatly appreciated!"
