Description of Work: I revise my original rating. Chris Vasquez built my retaining wall and promised to come back in the spring to repair some holes and leaks in the 4' stone wall. After a dozen attempts at contacting him and him never returning my calls or emails, I want to revise my grade to Overall D. The lack of follow-up after receiving his payment is truly poor management.

Chris is a very affable guy, very creative, and very busy. He built a 70' rock wall as Phase I of the project in Autumn 2013. This spring we contacted him about erosion problems. He eventually came out and we worked out an agreement to fix the problem and even discussed Phase II of the project. He has been very difficult to contact with a full voicemail most of the time. When we were able to contact him, twice he told us he would be out to fix the wall and quot;in this next weekand quot;. We are still waiting, and have learned he is merging with another landscaper. Our main complaint is his unavailability and that we have lost a full year in planting time. His work is excellent but he needs to follow through on promises to his clients.
Description of Work: Trenched and built a rock retaining wall with an intricate plan for the surface.

He did somewhat of a good job. But when it was done it was not all level, water will staid in two places. So the wife was not happy the way it turned out.

I discussed the project with Chris Vasquez, the owner, and we scheduled for July of 2013. Then, some things came up and I had to move the project date back to late August. Communication was going fine, but then, August came and went. In September, I started to get worried, and I called to find out if I was still on the schedule. It took a several calls and e-mails, but I finally got a hold of Chris. This would be my only complaint. He gets busy and doesn't get back to you right away. We finally scheduled the project for the middle of Oct, and he came and finished the project on time. It turned out lovely, and I am very happy with how it looks.
Description of Work: I won a gift certificate for $500.00 in March of 2013. I wanted to have them redo the pavers on my front patio. They were old and had settled over the years. Vital Landscapes was given the job to remove the old pavers, level the area, and put new pavers down.
