The person who bought my grandmother's house subcontracted him to me as a finder's fee. The roofer never did pay me for the work like he promised. SMT Home Services camped out in our yard while doing the work. He tore out the shower and was supposed to put in a fan, but he never did that or put in the special paint. I now have no water pressure since he put a cork in my plumbing. He put on tiles with unsanded grout so it is all coming out. The floor is chipping because he used wall tiles instead of floor tiles. None of the tile was sealed or finished. He also never put in a screen door. He made such a mess that other contracts will need to spend about $8,000 more to fix everything. He will not talk to me now and he would not pick up the phone, the person who subcontracted him called while I was there and he cursed strongly and hung up on us.
