Orning Glass Company Inc

The work was done very well. The service was less than ideal. We were constantly told that we were next on their 'to do' list over the course of several weeks. At one point, it was expressed to us that (even though we had been waiting weeks) school was starting at the university and they needed to be tended to before anything else. It kinda sucks when you are not the important client.

After hired for the job, it took two weeks to get it installed. Part of that time was because the glass was ordered from a factory. The other chunk of time is because they continued to try calling my husband who was out of town and unreachable. He called their office prior to leaving town, gave them my number, and told them he would not be able to take calls. They called him several times, then stopped and waited for him to call them back. Very frustrating for me who expected the window to be installed before he returned. When they finally came to install the glass, they weren't even sure they could finish the job because they thought the person doing the measurements screwed up. They finally figured everything out and completed the job. Then, they asked for payment on the spot. My husband had told the office that the neighbor who broke the glass would be paying for it, but since she wasn't home, I was hounded for payment. I'm not the type of person to be hounded and said as much. I understand needing to collect payment for services rendered, but we had already talked this over with the people at his office and they knew payment was to come from out neighbor. He was a lot nicer and called his boss who said he would like payment by the end of the day. Horrible communication. We won't use this company again. I'd rather pay more for a company from out of town than deal with this company again. We should have checked around more.
