Gabe's team is great to work with. Great problem solving in finding our leak in our Chimney. The team tries to do everything correctly. They redid our windows and deck connections after seeing they were installed incorrectly 17 years ago! They listened to our concerns and came back to rework any problems after a few trial rainstorms. Gabe was very patience and concern that we were happy with the results.

Our house was built in the thirties and presented a unique problem as it was a tile roof attached to a Pyrobar (a US Gypsum product) substrate. Safe to say that it was unlikely a roofer had seen a similar system before. The fact that it was not a conventional roofing system scared a number of contractors away. Many who submitted a bid didn't seem to understand the special challenges such a system might present. Guardian was one of the few who actually climbed on the roof and partially disassembled the existing roof to get such an understanding. My search for a contractor and replacement roof material extended over many months and other roofers lost interest. Guardian remained responsive to my ongoing questions, provided good suggestions and insight into my situation and were never pushy on the sales side. Guardian sub-contracted to three different crews. One for tear off of the old roof, one for installation of the new roof (a stone coated metal roof) and one for installation of the gutters. All three were efficient and professional with good attention to detail. I gave Guardian an A for pricing not because they were the cheapest - they weren't. But neither were they the most expensive. I gave them an A because I felt like their bid most accurately represented the cost of doing a good quality job. I would recommend them without hesitation.

They turned out really good! They did a very quick job, cleaned everything up, and made sure the whole yard was free of roofing nails, etc. They were a very good company to work with, very professional and we were happy with them!

They showed up, gave us an overview of what the cost might be and how the process would work. They got the estimate done, measured windows. Next thing we knew order was in, they set up a time and got installed. We didn't even have to be home. Then they followed up with us. We were amazed at how easy it was.

We had been trying to work with our insurnace company on hail damage that had happened years ago. We met with a salesman from Guardian Contracting and he explained everything to us so we could understand how it works, working with the insurance, letting them find the crew, order the material, handle everything for us. We were in. The salesman actually got on the roof, marked out damage, told us he would get with an adjuster from our insurance company soon, it wasnt even the next week it was the same week, they showed up and talked, we actually got approved, the salesman walked us through everything the checks we got, the picking of the new colors, the final steps. The crew was great, cleaned up after themselves, were very fast, we were shocked to have a new roof in the same day. The salesman followed up with us and made sure everything went well and we were happy. I would highly recommend them to any one of my friends or family.

We observed crews from Guardian Roofing replacing roofs on two homes in our neighborhood. We were impressed by the end result of the their efforts; the speed at which they did the work; and especially the manner in which they protected the homeowners property. Because of the age of our roof and the fact that we had replaced missing shingles on more than one occasion, we contacted Dan Vaughan of Guardian Roofing for an estimate on roof replacement on our home. Guardian Roofing does not solicit, but does display signs on the lawns of properties they are working on. An evaluation of our roof was done and it was determined that we had extensive hail damage over our shingles on the house and sheds in our backyard. Because of the hail damage, we were advised that our homeowners insurance might pay for the re-roofing. We placed a claim with our insurance company and they sent an adjuster out who did an in-depth evaluation of the damage and concurred with the Guardian Roofing representative. In less than three weeks from the time we first spoke with Dan we got an estimate, a check from our insurance company and a new roof. No phone call or question went unanswered. There was no high pressure sales. When the roofing crew showed up, they immediately covered our landscaping, deck and anything else that might be damaged during shingle removal. Shingles were removed, ice shield was added above the eves because it had not been done on the original roof, the vent caps were replaced and new shingles were added to our home in about seven hours. Rain necessitated a return date for the sheds. We cannot say enough positive about our experience with Guardian. The quality of their product (Owens Corning shingles), the professionalism of Dan and Gabe, the hard work of their crew and insistence that the job isn't done until we are happy sets Guardian apart from other contractors. They did a nice job. We were very happy with them. They worked directly with our insurance company. They were there when they said they would be there. They cleaned up their mess really well and covered everything with tarps when they were putting the roof on. The price was very competitive. We had to call them back once because one of the vents was crooked, just a minor thing. They were always very quick to call back.
