Cleanscape solutions did very well they went right to work in remove my 50 to 60 foot tree from my backyard that blow down in the high winds of the March 5th storm and cleaned it up very well, I am happy with their work and would hire them again

They were quick to the site, very friendly, and efficient. The only issue is that I asked for a two trees to be trimmed around power lines, and they started cutting branches down. When I noticed, I went to speak with them and asked if they were cutting the trees down. He replied yes, and I said it was only suppose to be a trim around the lines. They stopped cutting, apologized, and switched to just the trim, but many branches had been cut by then. The tree is looking pretty ugly. There is nothing that can be done now, but could have been avoided with extra care to make sure the job was understood correctly.

Great communication, great results, and very timely work completion. CleanScape did spring cleanup in my large yard including raking, perennial cut back, shrub trimming, landscape stone edging, and mulch top dressing.

Jonathon removed my tree and then removed my stump for an additional charge, which is industry standard. Jonathan asked what I wanted done with the debris, I said I would dispose of it myself. Jonathan was willing to supply the dirt for an additional fee, which is industry standard. I would highly recommend Jonathan and his guys.

I had about 60 feet of grossly overgrown hedges (10 - 15 feet high) with several trees growing in the middle of them. The crew arrived on time and had the entire row cut to the ground and loaded to haul away, including a complete cleanup in two hours. They were fast, efficient, and cost effective. Very impressive!

They had a big job to do in removing a huge maple tree and were to remove the stump and haul away the debris. It ended up they left the tree stump debris and a friend removed it for me but found after removing the debris that the company hadnâ t fully removed the stump per our agreement. I have tried to contact them but have heard nothing back. I had appreciated that they came out quickly and got the tree down in a day. So they did a good job with that. I am just not happy that they didnâ t finish the job of the stump removal.

I put in a request to Angi that I needed my large maple tree looked at to see if it needed being cut down because I had been fighting carpenter ants all spring. I was given a list of contractors who would do a quote and Jonathon from CleanScape Solutions contacted me right away and drove from Ames to Des Moines to give me a quote. I thought it was a little high but needed it cut down. He said they could come the next day which was Sunday, August 18. He asked for cash and I didn t want to do cash but I told him I had Zelle. His sister uses Zelle so he asked if I could send her $200 to see if it would go through which it did. So then they came on Sunday but not at the time they said. I had to leave and got back around 3 pm and they had the tree pretty much cut down. He said he had to rent a chipper to grind the stump down and they were closed on Sundays so he said they would be back the next day which they did and worked several hours. After several hours he said they were done but they left a big pile of chopped pieces of wood and he said that it would settle and be okay. He then had me make a Zelle payment to his sister for $2,800 and left. I had a contractor out the next day to do some work for me and he was not happy with the way they left my yard he got one of his men to work on clearing all the debris because he was afraid there would be carpenter ants in that pile and it needed to be removed. It took them an hour to clean up the mess I got charged $350 to have it hauled away and that was when they found part of the stump and roots still there. I contacted Jonathon three times about it and my contractor called him several times and no answer. I just want him to finish the job of getting the stump out of my yard because I can t plant another tree there for years until it decays. The contractor s guy tried to work at it but gave up. Anyway, I am out $350 for what should have been done by Jonathon s company. I do not feel I should have to pay him more for finishing the job because I have already spent $3,350. He did not have me sign anything. He just texted the quote to me and I agreed by text to have the work done. Then he added 200 to the $2,800 quote for hauling more wood than they anticipated. The thing that bothered me when I saw the tree chunks lying on the ground I didn t see any damage to the trunk of the tree by carpenter ants so I don t even know if it was necessary to have cut it down and voice my concern to him that it looked like it was a good sturdy tree. He said that there were signs of holes in the upper branches that looked like the ants were working their way from the top down. That could be but I had wondered later if I should have had an arborist come out first and maybe would have been able to save it. Jonathon never mentioned that. He just seemed eager to get the business.

Great work, responsive, good communication, quick scheduling, job done on time and at a fair price. Gave this company a chance when I had a tight timeline to get my bushes trimmed back away from the house before painting. I called several companies with either no response or not able to schedule me for a month or more. I hired Cleanscape for a full lawn/lansdscape clean up including trimming bushes and plants, refresh mulch and rock. Jonathan was able to come give quote and schedule work being complete all within 1 week. Crew showed up on time and worked quickly. Job was done in 1 day! I was out of town but Jonathan was awesome at communication. We texted and called. He even sent me a video of the before and after. I will use them again in the future.
