The system was working fine; no repairs were needed.

After the technician came and worked on the AC unit it never worked--not even for five minutes. When I complained about the charges I was told that if we had bought a new unit from them they would have dropped the charges. Talked to the owner about lowering the bill and at least charging us for parts at cost. He said he would get back to me. He never did and I just got another bill in the mail that added interest to the charges, no less. I felt the owner was rude (he laughed at me) and I would never do business with Ames Heating and Cooling again. The technician told my husband that theowners really don't want them to fix the unit because they are more interested in selling a new unit to the homeowner.

They didn't overcharge or overwork the problem.

They do a good job.

They got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. I have no complaints. They are friendly people.

They came out on an emergency call to get it back up and running. They did a good job. We were absolutely satisfied.

They were very professional from start to finish. Brian came and did an estimate, and very patiently answered all our questions. We had the estimate within a couple of days, and they were willing to schedule us any time. They were in and out in one day - and they even pulled an extra tech to come in to help to make sure they got it done in a timely fashion. The installers were very nice, and explained the system to us before leaving. They left our house as clean as what they arrived to. They also included all the rebate paperwork with the bill, so that it was obvious what needed to be filled out. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Ames Heating and Cooling did a fantastic job from start to finish. They came out as scheduled to do the estimate, returned as scheduled with the figures and were very thorough (and patient) answering all of our questions. They provided options and discussed the pro's and con's. The installation was set to be completed in 2 days and it was. From start to finish the whole process took less than 10 days. Brian, Luke and the rest of the team that came out were professional and courteous. The promptness with which they responded to our needs (broken air conditioner at 90+) was impressive and very much appreciated. We will absolutely recommend Ames Heating and Cooling.
