They did a great job. They are very dependable and I recommend them.

George and his workers came on May 27 to tear up the old walkway. I also asked them to relocate a cast iron tub planter which they did by brute strength (no skip loader involved). I was very impressed! The large pieces of concrete were removed and hauled away and caution tape was erected. I picked up 3 buckets of smaller chunks of concrete myself which could have been left. Due to Memorial Day holiday, ordering supplies, weather and scheduling the actual work did not commence until June 10. The stenciling technique looks like cobblestone. It took one day to pour, place the stencil and tint. The work was covered tightly in plastic to protect from a torrential downpour overnight. George and Marcus were back the next day to remove the forms and stencils. George explained that the stencils could have been removed the previous day after the skim coat had set up, but that would have resulted in removing some material along the edges of the stencil. It was more difficult to remove the stencil the following day but the result was perfect. Marcus removed every bit of stencil, swept and washed the walkway so it was perfectly clean. We now wait a week to let the material thoroughly dry and a sealer will be applied after cleaning the walk again. I will need to apply sealer once a year to maintain the color. George is adamant about the detail and quality of his work and it shows. The walkway is beyond my expectations. Picture to come.
