Called Precision Comfort during AC service peak time and pleasantly surprised that they could come out to service within just a few hours. The owner/tech (Brent) came out on the call. I caught him just after he finished the service, so not quite sure what he did, other than adding more freon; I didn't ask (too happy to have AC blowing cold), but he did explain that the unit is likely on its last leg and was not pushy about replacing. PC seems like an honest business and I recommend and would use myself again.

The technician noticed that the home builder incorrectly pointed the furnace exhaust towards the external AC unit, which was causing corrosion. This fact was not noticed by other companies that have serviced the AC. The technician redirected this exhaust away from the external AC unit at no additional charge.

I would highly recomend Precision Comfort. My furnace went down about a week ago. I conducted my own research into troubleshooting a furnace. I determined myself to be 90% sure of the issue effecting my furnace. Not having the time to repair the furnace, I researched HVAC companies. Precision Comfort reviews won, and they were dead on. Great service. Personable, competent. There was ample opportunity to gouge me, possibly make unnecessary repairs to rob me further. That DID NOT happen. Im a firefighter in Des Moines and know when a person is good.Precision Comfort is much better than good.

Brent was very professional and accommodating. I was ready to install a new AC unit using another company and he came out and it ended up being the wall thermostat that needed replaced. Great work and nice guy! Highly recommend.

Brent went out of his way to accommodate my schedule. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem correctly and had repair parts in his truck. The AC was working in less than 20 minutes.
